Those heading to Walt Disney World Resort this spring break season should be more than aware of the issues that may be waiting for them.

Orlando International Airport is no stranger to bustling activity, especially during peak travel seasons like spring break. As one of the busiest airports in the region, the sight of long lines at security checkpoints and passengers hurrying to catch their flights is a common occurrence during this time of year. Despite the higher volume of passengers passing through, the airport staff work diligently to ensure that operations run smoothly and that travelers experience minimal disruptions to their journey. However, with this year’s crowds breaking records, MCO has issued a warning for tourists heading to the city for their Spring Break vacations.

Earlier this month, on March 15, MCO broke their record when they had 102,064 departing passengers in one single day. This made that day the busiest day ever, meaning that this year’s spring break was 11% more populated than last year in Orlando, Florida. Along with this news, MCO announced an important warning for guests traveling through the airport this springtime.

Navigating through the airport during spring break can be both exhilarating and hectic as vacationers from all over the world converge at this central hub for their holiday adventures. From families embarking on magical Disney vacations to solo travelers seeking sunny getaways in Central Florida, the diversity of passengers adds to the airport’s dynamic ambiance. However, when it is time to leave your vacation and travel home through the airport, there are some important things you should know.

In a recent press release, MCO airport said,

Spring Break Is Not Over Yet!

If last weekend showed us anything, we now know that spring break is far from being over at Walt Disney World Resort. Because this is a very popular time to visit the parks, it is very important to remember to use patience and kindness, even when things get stressful. The Disney theme parks are meant for magic, and you will experience that even with long lines.

If you plan on visiting Orlando Airport anytime soon, be sure to sow up early for your flight and give yourself plenty of time to find parking. Orlandi Intl Airport may feel like the busiest airport ever, but employees will do their best to keep things running smoothly.
