If you planned your Walt Disney World vacation for today, you can still enjoy many of the attractions they offer. There are plenty of indoor shows and attractions, and a bonus about being at Walt Disney World on a rainy day is it does keep the crowds lower. Any outdoor rides or attractions will close if there is lightning but not if there is rain. Pack your poncho, put any items you don’t want to get wet in a ziplock bag, and have a good day.
According to the forecast, at 8 pm, the skies should be calming down, so you may be able to get a couple of hours in of outdoor activities at the theme parks. If you know anything about Central Florida, though the weather is very unpredictable, it will change as soon as you plan something for the weather. Just enjoy your day and a rainy day at Walt Disney World is still a pretty fantastic day.
We are past the random rainy season in Central Florida, although, as we said before, this area is very unpredictable. It looks like the rest of the week will be dry weather with comfortable temperatures and sunshine. Other parts of the country have fall, and we’re having second summer, but we are grateful that the weather is finally getting more comfortable. When packing for your Walt Disney World vacation, at this time of year bring a little bit of everything because you never know what you will want to wear.
