Stan Lee Honored at Disney California Adventure

Since last July, anyone who has been to Disneyland has probably been to Avengers Campus. It is the brand new land over in Disney California Adventure. It is a Marvel fan’s dream come true, and not only do you see characters all around, but you can ride WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure. If you’re looking for some great dining options, check out The Pym Testing Kitchen.

You are fully immersed in the Marvel Universe, and it is an amazing addition to Disney California Adventure. Since we all know that Disney was started with a mouse and Walt Disney’s vision, Marvel would not be possible without Stan Lee.

On a recent Instagram post from danidisneyadventures, The Adventures Campus is officially dedicated to Stan Lee. There is now a plaque that reads:

 

 “We dedicate Avengers Campus to the incomparable Stan Lee. “That person who helps others simply because it should or must be done, and because it is the right thing to do, is indeed without a doubt a real superhero.” Thank you, Stan,  for inspiring the hero within each of us. You have made us all True Believers. 

Stan Lee did not only create a universe that touched the hearts of many but was also an incredible person. In 2010 he started the Stanley Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides access to literacy, education, and the arts in the United States.

He loved to give back to the community and help others in need. Also, those who were lucky enough to meet him would always say he was so kind. When hurricane Irma hit, he made an appearance in Central Florida and donated money to those affected by the storm. He was truly a remarkable person.
