While on a Disney vacation, Disney Parks & Resorts strives to make its luxury and economy properties like a home away from home, but what about bringing Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort rooms to the home itself?
Soon, some lucky Disney fans will do just that and truly step into the magic of Disney immersion! Of course, any stay in a Disney property should be wholesome, accommodating, and fun for the whole family.

What’s more, in addition to its existing offerings for fantastical Guest stays, Disney Resorts recently announced widespread renovations for many of its major properties, such as Disney’s Grand Floridian Hotel and Spa or Disney’s Boardwalk Inn. Although many Guests were sad to see some of Disney World’s more detailed themed rooms go in favor of minimalistic styles and subtle Disney touches, it turns out their loss could also be their gain… Or even your gain!
Officially, the Walt Disney World website describes the Caribbean Beach Resort:
Discover a world where life slows to a leisurely pace and worries melt away amidst Calypso rhythms. Awash with vibrant colors and lush landscapes, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort transports Guests to a relaxing paradise that captures the essence of 5 distinct islands: Barbados, Jamaica, Martinique, Trinidad and Aruba. Celebrate the spirit of the Caribbean with blissful sights and fun-filled activities—including colonial forts, lively markets, pristine beaches, splashy florals and swaying hammocks—sure to awaken the imagination.

The Resort Hotel, inspired by old Spanish citadels, boasts exclusive features like themed rooms, a zero-entry pool with an 82-foot slide and interactive water cannons, a shipwreck play area, and a nearly all-ages spa. Furthermore, the unique accomodations offer Guests access to Old Port Royale, and the Disney Skyliner for transportation to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios Park.
Recently, a fan spotted some of the elaborate furnishings from the now-defunct Pirates of the Caribbean rooms at the Disney resort, which underwent renovations in December of last year, headed off-property in the back of a transport truck. While the Walt Disney World Resort did not release an official statement detailing the fate of these beloved (and likely expensive) pieces, it seems it was able to turn a final profit on the themed decor after all!
