Thanksgiving College Basketball Tournament
This 17-year history tournament is coming back for Thanksgiving 2023. So let’s break it down. On Thanksgiving Day, fans can watch four games; Penn State vs. Texas A&M, Florida Atlantic vs. Butler, Iowa State vs. Virginia Commonwealth, and Boise State vs. Virginia Tech.
“Six of the teams in this year’s field played in the 2023 NCAA Tournament, including FAU, which made it all the way to the Final Four for the first time in the school’s history,” Disney Parks Blog writes. Whichever team wins on Thanksgiving will put the team into the semifinals on Black Friday, November 24. The championship game will follow on Sunday, November 26. Last year’s champion was Oklahoma, so only time will tell who will be the 2023 champion of the Thanksgiving College Basketball Tournament.
ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex seats 5,000 Guests, making it the perfect place to bring the entire family. Furthermore, make it your newest family tradition and enjoy some turkey and Parks in between the games.
Get in on the action with tickets now on sale, including single-session tickets and All-Tournament tickets for every game. Additional single-session tickets will go on sale later on October 2. Disney is even featuring a discount code until August 11, offering $15 off your tickets using promo code “MAGIC”. Tickets can begin as low as $80 per person. If this is a part of your Thanksgiving traditions or starting to become one, this makes for the perfect gift during the holiday season.
