There are few Disney treats more iconic than the DOLE Whip — it’s the perfect combination of sweet and tart. And it’s absolutely perfect for a hot Disney day, or really, any Disney day. In fact, you know what, we retract our original statement and believe that there is NO Disney treat more iconic than the DOLE Whip!
The DOLE Whip is a delicious pineapple soft-serve concoction that is transformed into a DOLE Whip Float when pineapple juice is added. And while the classic DOLE Whip is always a solid choice, there are so many unique and delicious DOLE Whip options available at Walt Disney World Resort, you don’t want to limit yourself!
Here are some of the best DOLE Whip treats you can find at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
Tropical Serenade or Pineapple Upside-Down Cake – Aloha Isle – Magic Kingdom
If you are visiting Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park, then Aloha Isle is THE place to go for a DOLE Whip. They have everything from classic DOLE Whips to DOLE Whip Floats and unique sundaes. And if you head to Aloha Isle during your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation, then you need to try the tasty and refreshing Tropical Serenade.
All the birds will sing all the words for this unique treat. Unlike the traditional DOLE Whip, the Tropical Serenade does NOT contain DOLE Whip Pineapple soft serve or pineapple juice. Instead, this sundae is made with POG (Pineapple Orange Guava) juice and coconut soft serve. It is then topped with an upside-down pineapple cake pop!

Also available at Aloha Isle is the Pineapple Upside-Down Cake. This moist and delicious cake is made with pineapple juice and then topped with pineapple DOLE Whip. If you want to change things up a bit, you can opt to get your pineapple DOLE Whip changed to vanilla DOLE Whip or even a pineapple-vanilla soft-serve swirl!
Orange Bird Float – Swirls on the Water – Disney Springs
Here’s another top DOLE Whip treat that doesn’t have any pineapple in it!
Disney Springs is the ultimate destination for Disney World foodies. It is full of incredible dining options, such as Art Smith’s Homecomin’, Wine Bar George, The BOATHOUSE, Frontera Cocina, and many more.
In 2022, a brand-new sweet spot opened, specializing in different kinds of DOLE Whip. Swirls on the Water constantly changes up its menu to reflect new recipes and decadent seasonal offerings.

While there are always fun and interesting options at Swirls on the Water, but if you want a true taste of Florida, you’ll definitely want to try the Orange Bird Float that comes with a free souvenir cup!
The Orange Bird Float is made with a swirl of DOLEWhip Orange and watermelon. Then, instead of juice, the float is made with Fanta Orange Soda, to give it a little something extra. The orange and watermelon are the perfect combination of citrus and sweetness, and the addition of the carbonated Fanta Orange just puts it over the top.

Rapunzel Sundae or Aurora Cone – Storybook Treats – Magic Kingdom
Seven a.m., the usual morning lineup. Hop out of bed and head to Fantasyland! After all, it’s never too early for a DOLE Whip! Especially if that DOLE Whip treat is themed after Rapunzel herself.
What makes this sweet treat different from other DOLE Whips is the fact that this one comes with cake! That’s right, the Rapunzel Sundae begins with a shortcake base that is then topped with a Wild Berry Soft-Serve and DOLEWhip Lemon Swirl. It is topped with a berry compote and served with sugar flowers. It’s the perfect sweet treat to represent a sweet princess.

Should we make it pink or make it blue? We’ll make it both!
The Rapunzel Sundae is not the only princess-themed cone you can get at Storybook Treats. Also on the menu is the Aurora Cone, themed after the memorable princess, also known as Briar Rose, from Sleeping Beauty (1959).
The Aurora Cone is made with a DOLEWhip Strawberry and Blue Swirl topped with crispy white chocolate pearls. The sundae is then served in a gorgeous blue cone to make it absolutely perfect and Instagram-worthy.
Zazu Lime and Coconut Float – Trilo-Bites – Animal Kingdom
Sadly, we know that DinoLand U.S.A. will soon be completely torn down and replaced with the Tropical Americas in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. But, if you are over 21, then you need to head over to Trilo-Bites and get yourself the Zazu DOLE Whip Lime and Coconut Float before it goes extinct.
This DOLE float represents a highly underrepresented and underappreciated character from Disney’s 1994 movie The Lion King: the brilliant (and sarcastic) Zazu, Mufasa’s majordomo.
The Zazu Lime Float is made with Lime DOLE Whip soft-serve topped with Sprite, along with coconut and Blue Curaçao syrups. It is then topped with a white chocolate medallion featuring Zazu himself.
*Bonus Offering – Rafiki Wildberry and DOLE Whip Orange Float – FOR ANNUAL PASSHOLDERS ONLY
Unfortunately, you can’t snag this exclusive treat unless you are a Disney World Annual Passholder, but this Rafiki Float might be worth getting one!
The Rafiki Float is made with DOLEWhip Orange soft-serve and topped with Fanta Orange soda and wildberry syrup. Like the Zazu float, the Rafiki Float is also topped with a white chocolate medallion featuring Rafiki.
Frozcato – Wine Bar George – Disney Springs
This is another DOLE Whip must-have for over-21 guests who want to add a little something extra to their Disney meal.
Wine Bar George is known for its top-notch shareable plates, mouthwatering desserts, and, of course, wine. But our favorite drink on the menu doesn’t focus on the grapes, it centers on pineapple soft-serve.
The Frozcato from Wine Bar George perfectly combines Moscato (a sweet wine), vodka, and DOLEWhip Pineapple. The three ingredients are blended up and create a delicious cocktail you’ll definitely want to have again and again.

Bathtub Sundae or Mai Tai Float – Snack Shack – Typhoon Lagoon
While Walt Disney World is best known for its four theme parks, the resort also has two fantastic water parks: Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon.
Over at Typhoon Lagoon, there is a memorable quick-service spot called the Snack Shack, and it has some truly unique offerings. Sure, you’ve had a DOLE Whip, but have you ever had a DOLE Whip sundae served in a bathtub?!
The Snack Shack is the only place in Disney World where you can get Matcha soft-serve ice cream, and it is part of the Bathtub Sundae. The Bathtub Sundae is made with DOLEWhip Pineapple, DOLE Whip Strawberry, and Green Matcha Tea Soft-serve and served in a plastic bathtub.

The second must-have offering at the Snack Shack is for the adults in the group, and that is the Strawberry Mai Tai Float.
Typhoon Lagoon transports you to a tropical island where it feels good to just sit back and relax. And what better way to do that than with a delicious Mai Tai made with a Disney twist?
The Strawberry Mai Tai Float is made with DOLEWhip Strawberry with a blend of Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum, Myers’s Original Dark Rum, Bols Blackberry Brandy, Minute Maid Orange Juice, and a splash of Fanta Strawberry soda.
I Lava You Float – Sunshine Tree Terrace – Magic Kingdom
Just like Aloha Isle at Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park, Sunshine Tree Terrace is dedicated to all things DOLE Whip, and it is home to the only Disney Park float based on the beloved Disney/Pixar short film Lava (2014). Lava tells the story of a lonely volcano living in the middle of the ocean who hopes that he will be able to find his true love by singing to the ocean.

For millions of years, the volcano sang to the ocean while slowly sinking into it. He eventually lost hope and was nearly swallowed by the ocean. However, his fire was reignited when a submarine volcano emerged from the ocean, looking for him. The female volcano sang the song she listened to every day, and the male volcano reemerged, and they lived happily ever after.
The I Lava You Float is made with Fanta Strawberry Soda and Passion Fruit flavor, served with DOLEWhip Orange, and topped with Popping Candy. The highlight of this sundae is definitely the popping candy. It adds a fun, sweet flavor, along with a dose of nostalgia, and definitely makes you feel like a kid again. The I Lava You Float is not to be missed!
And there you have it! These are just some of our favorite DOLE Whip treats that are not your traditional pineapple treat.
Of course, if you are a fan of tradition, then you can always enjoy the traditional Disney DOLE Whip, made with the signature DOLE Whip flavor, pineapple. If you want to give your traditional DOLE Whip a little twist, you can always get a swirl with vanilla or a citrus swirl with DOLEWhip Orange.
There are so many options that you are sure to find the DOLE Whip snack that will become one of your must-haves every time you visit Walt Disney World Resort!
Happy snacking!
