This has been a year of celebrating for Disney! This year has brought an anniversary and plenty more reasons to celebrate your love for Disney. Like the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World and the 100th of Disneyland, Tokyo Disney Resort is also celebrating something special.

Starting April 15, 2023, through March 31, 2024, Tokyo Disney Resort is celebrating its 40th anniversary! Another celebration we all want to be a part of, to say the least, is here. Tokyo Disney welcomes its 40 years with new parades, food, and merchandise. Disney Parks Blog reports new daytime parades and decorations will be at Tokyo Disneyland and TokyoSea.

This week, Disney Eats released two of the newest snacks to ring in the celebration.

Disney Tokyo Treats

Disney Tokyo Resort is already known for its delicious snacks. Comparing it to other Disney Parks worldwide, they offer unique options that fans can’t find in Disney World. Inside the Magic shared some favorites like, “Popcorn is the most popular snack at Tokyo Disney.” For the 40th anniversary, Disney has so far released a themed ice cream cone, tiramisu doughnut, and a Ukiwa bun. The two newest releases are The Mickey Macaron and The Mickey Long Bread.

The Mickey Macaron

This tasty pink treat is, of course, Mickey-shaped and embodies the celebration. Stamped with the 40th-anniversary castle symbol, it comes in a matching souvenir case. Guests can purchase theirs at Huey, Dewey, and Louie’s Good Time Cafe in Tokyo Disneyland or Sebastian’s Calypso Kitchen in Tokyo DisneySea.
