Disneyland is just days away from opening its 70th Anniversary celebration. Disneyland Park and Disney’s California Adventure will be transformed to ring in the celebration, including an updated look for Sleeping Beauty Castle.

The park’s real 70th birthday isn’t until July 15, when Walt Disney officially welcomed the world into his dream. While most of the festivities will begin on May 16, Disney is holding back one special event for July.

On July 15, “Walt Disney—A Magical Life” will temporarily replace Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln at the Main Street Opera House. This new show will bring Walt to life in what Disney Imagineers calls its most lifelike animatronic.

However, the celebration isn’t just limited to the parks. On the esplanade between Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure, Disney is constructing a Sleeping Beauty Castle sculpture that will make for the perfect photo op to ring in the celebration.

With just to go before the sculpture’s unveiling, crews have been hard at work. Last week, they added the spires, and this week, they added decorative weathervanes in the shape of iconic Disneyland attractions representing each of the lands. For Fantasyland, there is a sculpture of a carousel horse; for Tomorrowland, there is a sculpture of Space Mountain.

For Main Street, U.S.A., the weather vane is meant to look like the Partners statue of Walt and Mickey Mouse that greets guests outside of Sleeping Beauty Castle. However, social media has started to notice a problem with the representation of Walt on top of the sculpture.

One social media user posted a close-up image of the Partner’s weather vane, and the representation of Walt looks nothing like him. In fact, it actually kind of looks like President Donald Trump.

Walt kept his hair cropped for most of his life and occasionally had it slicked back. However, this representation has hair covering the forehead, which is very much in Trump’s style.

Social media user posted:

I thought it was a joke…but its not… I had absolutely no doubt it was mean to be anyone other than Trump…

The relationship between Trump and The Walt Disney Company has been rocky since he returned to the White House, and his FCC and DOJ are currently investigating the company. However, it’s hard to say that it doesn’t look like the President.

Whether this was a mistake on Disney’s part or a joke played by the building, it’s hard to argue that Walt Disney is the person in that representation. Looks like Trump is getting more than just the Hall of Presidents at Disneyland.

Who do you think is represented in the weather vane on top of the new Sleeping Beauty Castle sculpture? Let us know in the comments.
