Leaked Video Appears to Share an Interior View of Disney World’s Newest Attraction

The Walt Disney World Resort is currently in the process of constructing several new attractions, with some set to open next year, making 2023 a great time to plan your next Disney trip!

While multiple new attractions are in the works, including TRON Lightcycle / Run and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in the Magic Kingdom, and Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana, along with a new, yet unnamed nighttime fireworks spectacular for EPCOT, we have yet to see a detailed look of the interior of this lineup of coming attractions.

As for TRON Lightcycle / Run, Disney fans were given a brief preview of the Magic Kingdom’s newest thrill ride when Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Josh D’Amaro shared a video of his test ride on the attraction. Outside of this instance (and video from the original version of the ride in Shanghai Disneyland) fans have yet to see much of the inside of the TRON building in the Park.

In a recent video shared to Twitter by @BackDoorDisney (credited to epcotguru) we may have gotten our first glimpse of the queue for TRON Lightcycle / Run:

TRON Lightcycle / Run, which is set to open in Spring 2023, has also impacted neighboring structures in the Magic Kingdom including the Walt Disney World Railroad, where its trains need to pass through the TRON site, and the Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. (aka the gift shop at the exit to Space Mountain, which will also serve as the exit to TRON when the ride opens.)

Disney’s official description of TRON Lightcycle / Run reads:

LIMIT: NOT FOUND_
Lean forward into the ultimate race of survival! Leave the real world behind and join Team Blue in an epic quest across the Grid—the dark, computerized world with no horizons from TRON. Here, there’s no limit to the excitement.

Climb aboard your very own Lightcycle and take off on a high-speed adventure, racing against the Grid’s most menacing Programs. Surge past your fierce opponents as you attempt to cross through 8 Energy Gates and secure your team’s victory—so you can survive to race another day.

Scheduled to open in Spring 2023, TRON Lightcycle / Run will be one of the fastest coasters at any Disney theme park in the world.

An opening date has not yet been confirmed for TRON Lightcycle / Run, however, we will continue to monitor the ride’s status and will report back with updates as we have them here on Disney Tips.
