Walt Disney World guests may notice some major differences the next time they sit down for a meal.
Disney has rolled out a sweeping series of menu changes across the resort, with more than 50 new food and drink items appearing at restaurants, lounges, food courts, and quick-service locations. At the same time, plenty of familiar choices have disappeared.
The changes reach well beyond the theme parks. While Magic Kingdom received several notable additions, some of the biggest menu overhauls happened at Disney World Resort hotels.

From new breakfasts and entrées to desserts, sandwiches, cocktails, and allergy-friendly options, there is a lot for guests to sort through.
Magic Kingdom Gets Several Menu Changes
Magic Kingdom is among the locations affected, and Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe received one of the more noticeable updates.
Disney removed the Double Barbecue Bacon Cheeseburger, Coca-Cola Cherry-braised Pork Sandwich, Sweet Corn Mousse, and Mini Churros. Replacing those options are a Barbecue Bacon Cheeseburger, Nacho Bowl, Rice Bowl, Southwest Caesar Salad, and Churro Loops. This serves as one of the more significant menu overhauls we’ve seen in quite some time at Pecos Bill.
Over at Golden Oak Outpost, guests now have a new sweet option. Banana-Caramel Beignets joined the menu along with freshly brewed Joffrey’s Coffee.
Not everything involved additions, however. Liberty Tree Tavern removed its House-made Liberty Sangria, while Liberty Square Market dropped the Red, White, and Blue Slushy.
Those removals show that Disney isn’t simply expanding menus. In several cases, it is replacing existing offerings with entirely different choices.

Disney’s Grand Floridian Sees a Major Shake-Up
The changes become even more noticeable once guests leave the parks.
Grand Floridian Cafe at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa lost a lengthy list of food and beverage options. Disney removed the Seasonal Soup, Floridian-style Eggs Benedict, Breakfast Sandwich, and Tofu Power Bowl.
Several drinks also disappeared, including the Pomegranate Limeade, Watermelon Lemonade, Royal Berry Spritzer, Pomegranate Paradiso, Spicy Paloma, French 75, Gold Rush Cocktail, and Blackberry-Orange Spritz.
The restaurant added a new item called So Many Wishes.
Meanwhile, nearby Gasparilla Island Grill gained three new entrées: a Salmon Bowl, Breaded Chicken, and Glazed Meatloaf.
Ale & Compass Gets One of Disney World’s Biggest New Menus
Perhaps the most dramatic overhaul happened at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort.
Ale & Compass Restaurant removed nearly 20 offerings, including the New England Breakfast Quiche, Smoked Salmon Flatbread, Steak and Egg, Crab Cake Benedict, Protein Bowl, Red Wine-braised Flat Iron, Corn Agnolotti, Bone-In Pork Chop, “Brick” Lemon-Herb Half Chicken, Doughnuts with Sauce Flight, and Butter Cake.
Disney replaced that lineup with a long list of new or revised choices.
Breakfast additions include a Breakfast Flatbread, New England-style Omelet, and Avocado Toast. Other new selections include Tomato and Burrata Salad, Wedge Salad, Steamed Mussels, Seasonal Market Vegetable Flatbread, Heart of Palm Croquette Protein Hash, Maryland-style Crab Cake, and a Waldorf Chicken Salad Sandwich.
Guests looking for a larger meal can now find Steak Frites, Blackened Fish Tacos, a 12-ounce New York Strip, Herb-roasted Chicken Breast, and Red Wine-braised Short Rib.
Dessert wasn’t left out either. Banana Crème Brûlée and a Peanut Butter-Marshmallow Cup joined the menu.
Ale & Compass Lounge also swapped out its Clams Casino and Meatballs for a Blue Crab Bisque.

Coronado Springs Restaurants Receive Big Changes
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is another place where returning guests could find a much different menu.
Rix Sports Bar & Grill removed several breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drink options, including Southern Fried Chicken Biscuit Skillet, Chicken Filled Waffles, Healthy Start, Loaded Nachos, Rix Half-Time Burger, California Chicken Sandwich, Rix Steak Sandwich, and Coco-Loco Espresso Martini.
The replacements cover several meals throughout the day.
New choices include Chicken & Mickey Waffles, Peanut Butter Crunch Pancakes, Caribbean Hash Skillet, Havana Sandwich, Homestyle Oatmeal, Triple Play, The Gathering Board, Stadium Wings, Chicken Milanesa Sandwich, The Ultimate Patty Melt, The Steak Out, and Soup du Jour.
Laguna Bar also underwent changes, dropping several previous offerings and adding The Gathering Board and Wings.
More New Food Arrives Across Disney World Resorts
The menu overhaul extends to several other Disney hotels.
Capt. Cook’s at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort added allergy-friendly versions of its Hot Ham and Bacon Sandwich and Thai Coconut Meatballs. Both additions are listed as peanut/tree nut allergy-friendly.
Guests staying at Disney’s Pop Century Resort can find a new Strawberry Lemonade Cupcake at Everything Pop Shopping and Dining.
The same Strawberry Lemonade Cupcake has arrived at Intermission Food Court at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort, along with a Large Buffalo Chicken Pizza.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios saw a much smaller adjustment by comparison. The Hollywood Brown Derby removed the Kids’ Hot Dog from its menu.
More Than 50 New Choices Change Disney World Dining
Taken together, the latest updates represent a substantial reshuffling of dining options around Walt Disney World.
Some restaurants only gained one or two additions, while places such as Ale & Compass Restaurant and Rix Sports Bar & Grill received much broader changes. Guests returning to those locations after a previous vacation could find that several of the meals they remember are no longer available.
The timing is also notable as Walt Disney World moves toward its busy fall season. Halloween festivities are approaching, and seasonal food will bring even more limited-time choices around the resort.
For now, though, Disney has already given guests dozens of new things to try. With more than 50 additions spread across theme parks and resort hotels, checking a restaurant’s current menu before heading out for a meal may be more important than usual.
