Walt Disney World to Offer Another Star Wars: Galactic Nights Event on May 27th

If you missed out on the last Star Wars: Galactic Nights event, you have the opportunity to check out another event planned for May 27th. Disney Parks Blog confirmed that Star Wars: Galactic Nights will be returning for one night at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.  This special event is a Star Wars themed after hours event held at the park from 7 PM until midnight.  There will be a variety of special themed events and offerings including photo opportunities, themed entertainment, characters, exclusive merchandise and more that guests can only enjoy at the event.  It is a ticketed event and will require that you purchase a separate ticket in order to attend the event.

Here are some of the other experiences that are planned for the event:

• Star Wars: Galactic Destinations Projected on The Hollywood Tower Hotel: The Hollywood Tower Hotel is the home of the popular attraction, Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.  During the event, there will be projections of different moments from the films set to music from the Star Wars movies.  It will be running all throughout the evening and is a feature only available at the event.

• New Enhancements Coming to Current Star Wars Shows: There is currently a fireworks show, Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular, and a stage show, Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away, performed at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.  Both of these shows will feature new elements and changes for the very first time during the event.

• There Will be Themed Photo Opportunities: Guests will find a variety of different photo backdrops throughout the park from favorite and iconic scenes from the different films.  The photo opportunities will only be available at the event.

• Star Wars Character Encounters: – What would a special event be without the characters?  There will be a variety of different characters to meet and greet with from the Star Wars films.  There will even be an Imperial Stormtrooper March with Darth Vader.

• Event-Exclusive Food & Beverage Options: There will be special food and beverage options that have been created exclusively for the event.  You definitely want to try some of these great treats while you have the chance!

• Access to Select Park Attractions: –There will be a selection of the park attractions that will be open all evening for guests at the event.  There may even be attractions that have a bit of a Star Wars overlay to theme them to the event.
