Since Walt Disney World has reopened since the shutdown during the COVID-19 pandemic, Guests need a Disney Park Pass Reservation to go to either Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, or Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Reservations filled up very quickly for the 50th anniversary of Magic Kingdom on October 1st, 2021. As of right now, if you are an Annual Passholder, there are no openings available. It looks like, though, if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resorts, some spots have opened up. Also, if you buy one day tickets, you can grab a reservation at the time being as well. You can book one by click here.

Make sure if you want to be there on the 50th Anniversary that you grab your reservation as quickly as possible because this will most likely fill up yet again. We are expecting crowds to be fairly low from now until the 50th Anniversary, so if you are planning on being at any of the parks and don’t want to be in the large crowds, this may be a good time for you. Just make sure to follow all safety protocols that Walt Disney World has put into place to protect you and others.

If you are going to be at Walt Disney World on October 1st, 2021, it will also be the first night of the new Magic Kingdom fireworks show Disney Enchantment. If you cannot grab a reservation for Magic Kingdom, EPCOT also has a new fireworks show beginning October 1st, 2021, called Harmonious. These Fireworks shows will continue, so if you miss it October 1st, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to see them. If you ask most Guests, they will say fireworks are what was missing at the parks, so everyone is very excited to have them back.
