What To Do if Your Photopass Pictures Never Show Up

Disney PhotoPass makes it easy to capture memories with the whole family in the picture all around the Walt Disney World Resort. Photos are stored right in the My Disney Experience app making it easy to download them or purchase prints. But what happens if your photos never show up? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.

About Disney PhotoPass

You can find Disney PhotoPass photographers all over Disney Parks, and occasionally at the Resorts, Disney Springs, and even Disney water parks. In addition to photos taken by photographers in the Parks, the My Disney Experience app will store photos from character meet and greets, select character dining experiences, and on-ride photos from certain Disney attractions.

If you are wearing a MagicBand, on-ride photos will automatically be linked to your account, but you can always touch your band under the screen showing your photo at the end of the ride to be safe.

What to do when photos are missing

Sometimes it does take time for photos to appear on the My Disney Experience app, but if it seems like you have photos missing, there are a couple of solutions you can take to ensure you have all of the pictures from your trip.

If the missing photo is from a ride that has a gift shop with a photo counter (DINOSAUR, Space Mountain, etc) you can ask a Cast Member in the photo area to help you find your photos. This route works best if you stop by shortly after getting off the ride. For other photos, or for ride photos after you leave the Park (or rides that do not have photo counters), the easiest way to track down your photos is to submit a request online.

Head over to Disney’s official website to fill out a contact form for PhotoPass. Be sure to include a description of your appearance in the photos, and the approximate time that they were taken to help Cast Members find your pictures. Prefer to call? Disney PhotoPass Guest Support can be reached at (407) 560-4300.

Remember to have your ticket, MagicBand, or PhotoPass card linked property in your My Disney Experience account to ensure your photos are stored properly. If you do happen to lose some, though, you can rest assured Cast Members will be happy to reunite them with your photos.
