Why a ‘Muppet Christmas Carol’ Ride Would Be the Perfect Holiday Addition to Disney Adventure World

The Muppet Christmas Carol (1992) is a holiday classic that stands apart from many others. But despite its popularity, it’s surprising that Disney hasn’t yet built an attraction around this festive favorite, especially as Disneyland Paris embarks on a major expansion.

Walt Disney Studios Park is being transformed into Disney Adventure World, which will feature immersive lands like World of Frozen and a Lion King-themed area boasting a Pride Rock water ride. While Disney hasn’t even remotely hinted at a Muppet Christmas Carol-themed attraction, to many fans and guests alike, it’s a no-brainer.

While the Muppets have appeared in Disney Parks before—most notably in Muppet*Vision 3D—their presence is limited. A dedicated Muppet Christmas Carol attraction would give guests a new reason to engage with these characters during the holiday season and beyond.

With Disneyland Paris expanding its reach, adding an attraction based on The Muppet Christmas Carol would provide a warm, family-friendly counterpoint to the park’s other offerings. It would celebrate the spirit of the holidays and bring a beloved movie to life in a way guests have never experienced before.
