A new study suggests that Disney fans could see an increase in prices for General Park Admission per ticket as well as for overall vacation expenses in 2023.
Everyone loves a trip to a Disney theme park, but not how much it costs! Especially not now that the Walt Disney Company has hinted they won’t be lowering admission costs any time soon.

Things have certainly changed since then, with the expense associated with a Disney Park vacation increasing exponentially beyond that rate.
In fact, in a recent study, Lending Tree found that from now until October 2023, a visit to just one of the Parks for a day at the Walt Disney World Resort will set Guests back $141.74 on average, and that’s just the cost of admission! What’s more, in a survey of nearly 1,550 consumers, the company found that 182 respondents admitted going into debt just to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth due to .
In addition, these respondents noted that dining, Resort or hotel fees, and transportation expenses were all more expensive than originally anticipated. However, LendingTree’s report suggests things could get even worse. For example, the baseline price of a five-night stay at Disney World for a family of four will, on average, increase by 10% by 2023.
Factoring in the price for flights, a Resort stay, one-day one-park tickets, meals, and Disney Genie+ or Lightning Lane, they expect what once would total around $5,731 per person per night to increase to about $6,320. Citing rising inflation within the US economy, plus dismal setbacks for Walt Disney Company profits, on average families will now have to save $316 per person for every night of their planned stay… especially if they want privileges.
