Happy Halloween! Today is easily one of the best days of the year. It’s a day for costumes, candy, spooky treats, and maybe a few scary movies once the sun goes down. But if you stop by Disney Springs today, you might feel like you skipped a few holidays. World of Disney has already fully transformed into a winter wonderland, and the Christmas spirit has officially arrived before spooky season has even ended.
The holiday decorations and merchandise were spotted at World of Disney on October 30, just one day before Halloween. The space where Halloween merchandise used to be is now packed with festive decor, Christmas trees, and holiday items. Red and green lights glow across the ceiling, Mickey is driving a holiday train through the center of the store, and Chip ’n’ Dale are welcoming guests into a snowy back room filled with holiday cheer.
It’s a quick turnaround, but it’s not exactly surprising. Disney World always moves fast from Halloween to Christmas. In fact, more holiday items could start showing up in the parks today, and by Monday, the parks will most likely be decked out for the holidays. With Disney Jollywood Nights starting November 7 and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party beginning November 8, the holiday season is officially upon us, even if spooky season isn’t quite over yet.
Here’s a look at everything that’s changed at World of Disney.

Red and Green Lights Fill the Store
The first thing guests will notice when walking into World of Disney is the lighting. The ceiling through the center of the store now glows in red and green, instantly setting a festive mood.
It’s a big change from the orange and purple tones that usually come with Halloween, and it makes the store feel like it’s already December.
Mickey’s Holiday Train Takes Center Stage
In the middle of the store is a red-and-green train engine featuring Mickey leaning out the window. Presents are piled on the back, and a sign reads, “Delivering Holiday Magic.”
A Mickey-shaped wreath with a fake candle sits on the front of the train, adding another cozy touch. It’s the kind of display that’s perfect for a quick holiday photo.
Presents and Christmas Trees Everywhere
Fake presents are scattered throughout the store on top of merchandise displays. They’re wrapped in red-and-green designs, including snowflakes and plaid patterns.
A Christmas tree on the central display is decorated with:
Peppermint swirl ornaments
Poinsettias
Bows
A sparkly dimensional snowflake on top
Smaller Christmas trees on another display are covered in shiny red baubles. Some shelving units are even topped with metal “bows,” making them look like giant wrapped gifts.
Holiday artwork has also been added around the store. Flats show Pluto riding in a train car surrounded by presents. Another piece of art reads “Warm wishes” above an image of Mickey and Minnie in a snowy scene.
These details help tie the whole store together with a cheerful, classic Disney holiday look.
The Back Room Is All Christmas
The back of World of Disney is where the holiday transformation really stands out. This area previously held Halloween merchandise, but now it’s fully dedicated to Christmas.
The entrance to the room is framed by railroad crossing flats featuring Chip ’n’ Dale. Inside, toys sit on a red sleigh perched on top of a chimney. The merchandise display below is designed to look like a snow-covered house.
More fake presents sit on shelves above the merchandise, and projections on the walls show Mickey and friends, along with characters like reindeer, celebrating the season. Messages like “Unwrap Magic of the Holidays” appear on the back wall.
The back displays also include flats of Mickey in his holiday train, with Minnie, Donald, and Daisy riding in train cars behind him. Illuminated Christmas trees glow in the background.
Outside World of Disney, several display windows are now covered with framed white artwork. Some feature sketch-style art, including Merlin and Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather. Others show the World of Disney wordmark above the message “We’re drawing up some new magic.”
That suggests new holiday window displays may be in the works behind the scenes. If so, they could be revealed soon as the holiday season kicks off.
Christmas Is Coming to the Parks Next
World of Disney may be one of the first places to fully switch to Christmas, but it won’t be the last. More holiday merchandise could start popping up in the parks as early as today.
By Monday, it’s likely that the parks will be dressed for the holidays, especially with two big holiday events right around the corner:
Disney Jollywood Nights: Begins November 7 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party: Begins November 8 at Magic Kingdom

Enjoy Halloween While It Lasts
It’s a little wild to see Christmas trees and holiday trains before Halloween is even over, but that’s just how Disney rolls. If you’re still in the spooky spirit, soak up every last bit of Halloween today. Tomorrow, the holiday season takes over.
And if you’re already ready for Christmas, World of Disney is the perfect place to get a head start.
