10 Best Bites in Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios

If you’re headed to Hollywood Studios soon, you’re in for a treat. Once a total dud in terms of food options, this park has seen some major food improvements with its recent updates. Toy Story Land, Pixar Place, and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge all feature some seriously awesome snacks, meals, and drinks. Meanwhile, many of the few staples that were worth saving have stuck around. Today we’re going to focus on the snacks in this exciting park. Below are our top ten favorite quick bites that can be grabbed on the way from one attraction to the next.

1. Carrot Cake Cookie

A Hollywood Studios classic, the Carrot Cake Cookie is one of those treats we hope never goes away. This soft cookie is filled with delicious cream cheese frosting and simply cannot get any better. Grab one from the Trolley Car Cafe and see for yourself! You won’t regret it.

2. Bavarian Pretzel

Soft pretzels are pretty easy to come by throughout the Disney Parks. That said, the Bavarian Pretzel served at BaseLine Tap House is the best by far. This particular snack is served with cheese fondue and spicy mustard. It may be a little more difficult to grab-and-go with, but is definitely worth waiting for.

3. Butterfinger Cupcake

Like the Carrot Cake Cookie, the Butterfinger Cupcake is a Hollywood Studios classic. While it was originally served in the now-defunct Starring Rolls Cafe, this fan favorite can now be found in the Trolley Car Cafe. It is, just as you might imagine, a fabulous combo of chocolate, peanut butter, and a bit of crunch, and we adore it. Just be aware that this cupcake has been known to disappear from the pastry case, so grab it while you can!

4. PB&J Milkshake

The PB&J Milkshake is one that took us by surprise. We honestly didn’t think it sounded all that appetizing, but it is absolutely fantastic. The perfect combination of peanut butter, jelly, and ice cream, this shake is one that you absolutely must get if visiting 50’s Prime Time Café. In fact, we would now head into this sit-down eatery just to grab this awesome dessert.

5. Lunch Box Tarts

For many adults, Toy Story Land is chock-full of nostalgia. Therefore, it makes perfect sense that the food options at Woody’s Lunch Box are the types of things we might have enjoyed in our lunches as kids. One of our favorites is their collection of Lunch Box Tarts. These are a better version of the popular childhood toaster tart treats, and are absolutely fantastic.

6. Totchos

While not as nostalgic as the Lunch Box Tarts, the Totchos served at Woody’s Lunch Box are also worth grabbing. This unusual spin on nachos uses tater tots in place of chips, creating a delicious, cheesy snack (or meal) that everyone will love. Just be sure to grab a fork and some napkins, because this food creation can get messy.

7. Num Num Cookie

A cross between a cookie and a tart, the Num Num Cookies found at the new Neighborhood Bakery in Pixar Place is absolutely delicious. If this is the same cookie Jack-Jack of The Incredibles goes crazy for, we totally understand. The cookie crust is perfectly crunchy on the outside, and the chocolate center is wonderfully gooey. The dessert is served warm, making it the perfect comfort food.

8. Key Lime Pie on a Stick

Also available at The Neighborhood Bakery is Key Lime Pie on a Stick. If you’re a fan of key lime pie, you’ll adore this take on the yummy dessert. A slice of classic key lime pie with a graham cracker crust is put on a stick, frozen into a popsicle, and dipped in white chocolate, creating the ideal snack for a hot day.

9. Ronto Morning Wrap

Moving on to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, we simply must stop in at Ronto Roasters. This little quick-service spot serves up a few different things, including the popular Ronto Wrap. We do enjoy the regular Ronto Wrap, but honestly, the morning version is even better. A pita filled with eggs, sausage, cheese, and peppercorn sauce, this is the perfect way to wake up on your Hollywood Studios morning.

10. Outpost Popcorn Mix

Finally, we simply must mention the Outpost Popcorn Mix. This colorful snack features both sweet and fruity purple kernels of popcorn and spicy red kernels, making for an interesting and surprisingly delicious mix. Be sure to stop in at Kat Saka’s Kettle in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to grab a bag of your own.
