10 Disney Quotes To Start Your Day Out Right

Any time spent in Walt Disney World is sure to be magical, but the return back to reality at the end of a vacation can be pretty depressing. Thankfully, there are plenty of ways to fight off the post-Disney blues including looking through photos from vacation, fondly looking back on memories, using souvenirs like coffee mugs, accessories, and clothing, and even listening to background music from the parks. Another great way to remember the magic of Walt Disney World is by thinking of great quotes from the attractions and entertainment in the four parks. Between the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom, there are plenty classic quotes which never fail to bring a smile to guests’ faces. Here are the top ten Disney quotes that are sure to help start any day off right.

1.     “Por favor…” —

Many guests who visit Walt Disney World do not consider their vacations complete without a ride on the monorail. The monorail features several different lines which connect the Magic Kingdom, Disney Resorts around Seven Seas Lagoon, the Transportation and Ticket Center, and Epcot. The monorail is a quick and convenient way to travel around Walt Disney World and many guests love enjoying the unique views while listening to a narration of the trip. While the narration points out places of interest and sights along the way, many guests absolutely love the iconic safety spiel. “Please stand clear of the closing doors. Por favor, mantengase alejado de las puertas.”

2.     “Welcome, foolish mortals” —

One of the most classic attractions in Walt Disney World is the Haunted Mansion in the Magic Kingdom’s Liberty Square. The attraction brings guests into a stately manor house where nine hundred and ninety nine happy haunts come out to socialize and spook guests as they cause all sorts of eerie and comical occurrences. The entire experience is narrated by the disembodied Ghost Host, and guests love their first greeting from him as they enter the stretching room of the spooky attraction. As the doors close behind them and they suddenly find themselves in an escapeless chamber, guests hear the Ghost Host call out “welcome, foolish mortals.”

3.     “Thank the Phoenicians!” —

Epcot is home to many different attractions which celebrate the diversity, technology, and beauty of the world. The flagship attraction of the park can be found just inside the main entrance and is housed in the massive silver triangle covered geodesic sphere. Spaceship Earth brings guests from the beginning of time to modern day to celebrate the history of communication. Dame Judi Dench is the narrator and provides a factual and entertaining account of important moments in communication. As she discusses how the Phoenicians were responsible for creating the common alphabet, she reminds guests who know their ABCs to “thank the Phoenicians!”

4.     “This here’s the wildest ride in the wilderness!” —

The Magic Kingdom is home to its very own mountain range which is scattered throughout the park. One of the most popular and thrilling attractions in the park is Big Thunder Mountain Railroad which brings guests on a whirlwind tour of the mines and scenery of the town of Tumbleweed. Just before leaving the loading area, guests are reminded to hold onto their hats and glasses as Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is the “wildest ride in the wilderness!”

5.     “We wants the redhead!” —

Another quintessential Disney attraction can also be found in the Magic Kingdom in Adventureland. Pirates of the Caribbean invites guests to set sail and accompany pirates through a seaside battle and burning village. While there are plenty of beloved moments throughout the attraction, many guests love the auction scene where woman are being sold off as wives and the pirates continuously call out “we wants the redhead!”

6.     “…and of course, these little beauties.” —

One of the most popular attractions in Epcot is Soarin’ Around the World found on the lower level of The Land Pavilion. The attraction invites guests on a thrilling hang gliding adventure over some of the most beautiful sights in the world like the Taj Mahal and the Great Wall of China. Before boarding the attraction, guests enjoy a preshow video where chief flight attendant Patrick reminds them to stow all of their cargo including Mickey Ears which he refers to as “these little beauties.”

7.     “Jambo everyone!” —

Disney’s Animal Kingdom is home to the amazing Kilimanjaro Safari in the Harambe section of the park. The attraction brings guests into the Harambe Reserve for a two week safari through lush forests and beautiful savannahs for up close and personal encounters with animals like giraffes, elephants, lions, cheetahs, and hippos. Each safari vehicle is driven by a friendly and knowledgeable driver who begins the experience by saying “Jambo everyone” which is the Swahili way of saying hello.

8.     “There’s a great big beautiful tomorrow” —

Tomorrowland in the Magic Kingdom is home to an attraction which dates back to the 1964 New York World’s Fair. Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress invites guests to travel through a century as they follow one family experiencing the joy and innovation of progress. Each scene of the experience features the attraction’s theme song “There’s A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow” which cheerfully reminds guests that the future is bright!

9.     “Here we go!” —

Perhaps one of the most beloved attractions in all of Walt Disney World is Peter Pan’s Flight in the Magic Kingdom’s Fantasyland. The attraction invites guests to be sprinkled with pixie dust and take to the skies to soar high over London and Neverland with Peter and the Darling children. Just after boarding their pirate ships, guests hear Peter cry out “here we go” as they take to the skies for their unforgettable adventure!

10.  “Buh bye!” —

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the ultimate park for fans of the Star Wars universe to visit. The park features special fireworks, meet and greets, exhibits, and live entertainment which bring the world to life as well as a thrilling attraction which lets guests blast off into space. Star Tours – The Adventure Continues brings guests on a routine Star Tours flight which soon turns into a thrilling adventure when it is discovered that a Rebel Spy is on board. After their daring adventure and joining the Rebel Alliance, guests encounter a safety droid on the screen in their Star Speeder who reminds them to have a nice day before uttering out a distinctive “buh bye!”
