10 Disney Quotes To Start Your Day Out Right

By Caitlin Corsello

Any time spent in Walt Disney World is sure to be magical, but the return back to reality at the end of a vacation can be pretty depressing. Thankfully, there are plenty of ways to fight off the post-Disney blues including looking through photos from vacation, fondly looking back on memories, using souvenirs like coffee mugs, accessories, and clothing, and even listening to background music from the parks. Another great way to remember the magic of Walt Disney World is by thinking of great quotes from the attractions and entertainment in the four parks. Between the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom, there are plenty classic quotes which never fail to bring a smile to guests’ faces. Here are the top ten Disney quotes that are sure to help start any day off right.

1.     “Por favor…” —

Many guests who visit Walt Disney World do not consider their vacations complete without a ride on the monorail. The monorail features several different lines which connect the Magic Kingdom, Disney Resorts around Seven Seas Lagoon, the Transportation and Ticket Center, and Epcot. The monorail is a quick and convenient way to travel around Walt Disney World and many guests love enjoying the unique views while listening to a narration of the trip. While the narration points out places of interest and sights along the way, many guests absolutely love the iconic safety spiel. “Please stand clear of the closing doors. Por favor, mantengase alejado de las puertas.”

2.     “Welcome, foolish mortals” —

One of the most classic attractions in Walt Disney World is the Haunted Mansion in the Magic Kingdom’s Liberty Square. The attraction brings guests into a stately manor house where nine hundred and ninety nine happy haunts come out to socialize and spook guests as they cause all sorts of eerie and comical occurrences. The entire experience is narrated by the disembodied Ghost Host, and guests love their first greeting from him as they enter the stretching room of the spooky attraction. As the doors close behind them and they suddenly find themselves in an escapeless chamber, guests hear the Ghost Host call out “welcome, foolish mortals.”

3.     “Thank the Phoenicians!” —

The Magic Kingdom is home to its very own mountain range which is scattered throughout the park. One of the most popular and thrilling attractions in the park is Big Thunder Mountain Railroad which brings guests on a whirlwind tour of the mines and scenery of the town of Tumbleweed.
