10 Favorite Walt Disney World Christmas Souvenirs for Your Home

Credit: Disney

Believe it or not, holiday souvenirs have been available to purchase for quite a while now at Walt Disney World. Guests visiting the parks for Halloween festivities are also just in time to shop for winter holiday décor, ornaments, and other special souvenirs. While it may be hard to think about Christmas festivities when it’s still hot and humid in Florida, it really gets my holiday spirit humming. Several of the shops at Walt Disney World sell holiday souvenirs year-round so that guests can buy items for their holiday celebrations no matter what time of year they are visiting, like Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in the Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Days of Christmas at Disney Springs. A nice selection of Hanukkah gifts is available too at the bigger shops throughout the parks. If you’re ready to start your Christmas shopping, whether it’s May or November, make sure you check out these merry keepsakes that are always on my list.

1. Christmas Tree Ornaments

What better way to remember your Walt Disney World vacation than with a treasured ornament to hang on your tree or display in your home!  Guests can purchase favorite character or princess ornaments, classic Mickey Mouse ornaments, or one that is themed for a favorite park. Consider getting your ornament personalized with your name or date of your trip for a special way to remember your vacation. Available in all a wide range of prices, these festive souvenirs are a great gift for yourself or family and friends.

2. Pajamas

Waking up on Christmas morning in cozy Disney sleepwear is a magical way to celebrate the season. Outfit your family in matching pajamas for a cute Christmas photo.

3. Holiday Train

All aboard! A miniature Walt Disney World holiday train is perfect to display under the tree, complete with remote control and your favorite characters. The whistle sound will make you feel like you’re back in the Magic Kingdom. If you’re more of a monorail fan, miniature monorail sets can also be purchased in the larger Walt Disney World shops and displayed under the tree or in your home.

4. Stockings

Hang your stockings up Disney style! Find one with your favorite character, and then grab some Disney treats and goodies to stuff inside.

5. Mickey Nutcracker

Check out the Ye Old Christmas Shoppe in the Magic Kingdom or Die Weihnachts Ecke in the Germany pavilion at Epcot’s World Showcase for the best selection of Mickey-themed nutcrackers. These cute souvenirs are available in a few different sizes and look great displayed as holiday décor.

6. Mugs and Cocoa

Enjoying hot chocolate or coffee in a cheerful Disney mug during the holiday season is a great memento of a magical vacation. Look for the cocoa powder or coffee sold in tins in many of the shops, and then pair it with a festive holiday mug.  Everything always tastes better in a mug from Walt Disney World.

7. Holiday Treats

Satisfy your sweet tooth with a fun Christmas cookie, cupcake, or candy treat from the Main Street Bakery as you’re strolling down Main Street USA. These delicious snacks are available in holiday colors at many of the shops and bakeries throughout the parks and resorts. Many of them are individually wrapped, making them perfect to take home to friends and family.

8. Santa’s Cookies and Milk

Surprise Santa on Christmas Eve with a Disney-themed cookie plate and mug. Better yet, use it for goodies during the entire holiday season for warm memories of your Disney vacation.

9. Christmas Tree Skirt and Tree Topper

Complement your Disney Christmas tree with a beautiful tree skirt and a Mickey Mouse tree topper. These are both terrific souvenirs to treasure year after year.

10. Walt Disney World Calendar

Keep track of your next Walt Disney World vacation with a new calendar for the coming year.  It’s a great inexpensive option available in several different styles.

About Melissa Fegely

I have been a professional writer for over 18 years with degrees in Biology and English. I am a lifelong Disney fan and a Disney Vacation Club member of over nine years. Having visited Walt Disney World several times growing up, I really caught the Disney bug after many trips with my husband. Now I am happily addicted to taking our son to Walt Disney World as often as possible and watching him experience the magic and Mickey Bars as he grows up. Traveling to Walt Disney World twice a year, I enjoy attending the Flower and Garden festival held in the spring and strolling around the World Showcase, as well as exploring all of the hidden gems that all four parks have to offer. I love helping my family and friends plan their next Disney trips based on my experiences. I also enjoy reading, swimming, traveling, and cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers. I grew up in Southwestern Pennsylvania, attended Shippensburg University, and current live in suburban Philadelphia with my husband, son, and two cats.
