Every guest knows that a vacation in Walt Disney World is going to be filled with amazing experiences that are sure to last a life time. For some guests this might include meeting special or favorite characters, for others it might mean enjoying every single attractions, and others still might enjoy a more laid back approach filled with dining and shopping in Disney Springs. No matter how a guest chooses to enjoy their Disney vacation, there are some moments that are simply more magical than others because they involve absolutely beautiful sights. From architecture and special entertainment to holiday cheer and low crowds, there are some beautiful sights that can make every moment even more magical. Here are the ten most beautiful sights to be found around Walt Disney World.

1. Happily Ever After Projections

After nightfall each day in the Magic Kingdom, Cinderella Castle and the skies above it come to life with an amazing show that entertains all guests. Happily Ever After shares the magic of happy endings through a combination of beautiful fireworks, Disney music, and state of the art projection technology on Cinderella Castle itself. These projections bring Disney characters to life in such a way that Cinderella Castle is completely transformed to look like everything from the ocean with Moana to a cathedral with Quasimodo.

2. Illuminations: Reflections of Earth Finale

Epcot is also home to a wonderful nightly show that celebrates the history of the Earth and its people. Illuminations: Reflections of Earth takes place in the middle of World Showcase Lagoon and combines pyrotechnics and fireworks with technology like laser lights and a massive rotating globe. While the entire show is both beautiful and moving, it is the finale that is one of the most gorgeous sights in Walt Disney World thanks to the rising music and final blast of fireworks that light up the night.

3. No Wait for Avatar Flight of Passage

One of the newest and most popular locations in all of Walt Disney World is Pandora – The World of Avatar which is home to two different attractions. Avatar Flight of Passage is the more thrilling of the two and invites guests to hop onto the back of a banshee and take to the skies for an unforgettable flight over Pandora that is considered to be a rite of passage by the Na’vi people. Since Avatar Flight of Passage is so incredibly popular, the attraction easily has wait times that exceed several hours on busy days in the park. Therefore, one of the most beautiful sights is seeing this attraction with no wait time!

4. Castle Dream Lights

While Walt Disney World is filled with beautiful locations throughout the entire year, the property becomes even more beautiful and filled with magic each holiday season. The Magic Kingdom in particular becomes decked out with Christmas decorations that line Main Street and even transform attractions, however it is Cinderella Castle itself that receives the most amazing makeover. Once the sun sets each night, Cinderella Castle lights up with the Castle Dream Lights which look as though frost and icicles have covered the structure bringing it to life in the night. These special lights are one of the most beautiful things to see each holiday season and guests are sure to love them!

5. Festival of Fantasy Parade

The Magic Kingdom is also home to a wonderful daytime parade that runs each afternoon from Frontierland through Liberty Square and down Main Street. The Festival of Fantasy Parade celebrates the whimsy and fantasy of the stories of favorite Disney characters through imaginative and kinetic floats. Guests can spot everyone from Mickey and Minnie to Anna and Elsa and each float is more beautiful than the last in this amazing parade.

6. DiVine

Disney’s Animal Kingdom is home to some of the most amazing details in all of Walt Disney World and guests can spend plenty of visits exploring all that the park has to offer and noticing new and beautiful details. The pathway between Africa and Asia is home to a truly beautiful sight that guests might look right past. DiVine is a performer on stilts who is perfectly disguised to look like a moving plant with long vines and leaves. DiVine moves ever so gracefully and guests are sure to be charmed by her beauty.

7. Pandora – The World of Avatar at Night

Also found in Disney’s Animal Kingdom is Pandora – The World of Avatar which is home to the stunning Valley of Mo’ara. The native land of the Na’vi is home to exotic species of plant life, flowing rivers and waterfalls, and majestic floating mountains that defy gravity and tower over guests. While the sights in the area are beautiful during the day, they take on another level of beauty at night when bioluminescent elements come to life and bring an otherworldly glow to the entire Valley of Mo’ara.

8. Empty Toy Story Land

Another new and very popular area of Walt Disney World is Toy Story Land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This area brings guests into Andy’s backyard and shrinks them down to the size of toys to enjoy entertainment, character meet and greets, and attractions. Since Toy Story Land is new and popular, it can be incredibly crowded on days in the park, so a beautiful sight is when the area is quiet and wait times are low.

9. View from Expedition Everest

Disney’s Animal Kingdom is home to a high speed thrilling attraction that brings guests deep into the heart of the Forbidden Mountain. Expedition Everest attempts to bring guests on a shortcut to the base camp of Everest, however a close encounter with the Yeti results in a thrilling experience. The beginning of the attraction features a steep ascent up a large lift hill and those who look all around them are treated to stunning views of the entire Walt Disney World property.

10. Tree of Life Awakenings

Nighttime in Disney’s Animal Kingdom is also particularly beautiful thanks to unique lighting and special entertainment. The Tree of Life is the icon of the park and is located in the center of Discovery Island. This landmark also becomes even more beautiful at night when the Tree of Life Awakenings are projected onto the trunk of the tree and bring amazing stories of nature to life through wonderful technology.
