10 Quick Service Meals We Can’t Get Enough Of At Walt Disney World

Sure, we all love Walt Disney World’s amazing table service restaurants.  But sometimes, you’d rather have fun in the parks than spend time sitting at a restaurant waiting for your food!  Understandably, service restaurants are a popular meal option throughout the parks.  And we have compiled a list of the best of the best for you!  So if you’re looking for a quick meal in WDW, check out these favorites.

10. Sushi: Morimoto Asia Street Food

Looking for the delicious pan-Asian food at Morimoto in a quick-service restaurant?  This is it!  Head to Morimoto Asia Street Food, and order one of the excellent to-go sushi items.  We recommend the Shrimp Tempura Roll, which is conveniently rolled in cellophane if you want to walk and eat.  It’s also delightfully fresh.

9. Bacon Macaroni & Cheese All-Beef Hot Dog: Casey’s Corner

There’s something to be said for a classic.  Casey’s is a favorite quick service haunt for many guests, and with good reason!  Lines can be long, but worth it when nothing but a hot dog will do.  Hit a home run with the Bacon Macaroni & Cheese All-Beef Hot Dog (it’s topped with bacon and mac and cheese!).

8. Vegan Korma with Gardein Meatless Chik’n: Sunshine Seasons

We love that Sunshine Seasons, at Future World in Epcot, allows you to eat food grown right on property.  We also love that it caters to vegans and vegetarians!  Don’t miss the Vegan Korma with Gardein Meatless Chik’n.  Even if you can’t pronounce it, you’ll love the spicy curry and wok-seared meatless chicken.  Even the carnivores in your party will be tempted by this delectable meal!

7. Toppings Bar: Pecos Bill Tale Tale Inn & Cafe

Alright, we’re cheating a bit with this one!  What we love about Pecos Bill isn’t a specific meal, but the fact that you can customize any meal using the toppings bar.  There’s a ton of toppings available, including lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, cheese, salsa and pickles.  Which means not only can you top off that burger just the way you want; you can actually make an entire salad out of the fixings, too!

6. Totchos: Woody’s Lunch Box

Our newest quick service favorite is a must-visit!  Not only is Woody’s Lunch Box in Hollywood Studios gloriously themed (check out Andy’s oversized lunch box lid and thermos!), but it has some very fun meals.  You won’t want to miss the “Totchos”, which are tater tot nachos, with a hearty helping of cheese, chili and corn chips (you can pick a delicious side, too).  What’s not to love about that?

5. Macarons: Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie

Dessert is a meal, right??  As far as we’re concerned, it is!  Which is why the collection of French macarons at this delightful quick service restaurant makes our list.  It’s a sweet experience that allows you to try several flavors at once – or share them with friends and family!  If you’re looking for more than just dessert, try the mouth-watering croissants and baguettes here – you can’t go wrong!

4. Baked Macaroni & Cheese with Pulled Pork: Flame Tree Barbeque

It’s tough to pick a favorite meal at this hit quick service restaurant – as long as it contains the signature Flame Tree Barbeque sauce, it’s a winner in our books!  But standing above the rest is the Baked Macaroni & Cheese with Pulled Pork.  The smoked pulled pork is just divine, and we can never turn down cheesey macaroni or onion rings.

3. Bacon-Wrapped Meatloaf: Wolfgang Puck Express

Bacon fans, do we have a treat for you!  The Bacon-Wrapped Meatloaf at Wolfgang Puck Express in Disney Springs earns top marks for a quick service meal.  It’s accompanied by provolone, onion strings, horseradish cream and a delicious port wine sauce.  If you’re a veggiesaur, try the Butternut Squash Cup; we love the addition of cardamom to a classic soup.

2. French Dip Sandwich: Be Our Guest (Lunch)

Yes, Be Our Guest Restaurant is actually considered a quick service restaurant for lunch!  While admittedly we would come here just for the stunning atmosphere, the food is pretty excellent too!  For a true French experience, we recommend the French Dip Sandwich.  It’s served up on a baguette, with au jus and French fries (or “pommes frites”, if you’re really into the French theme!).  A close second is – no surprise – the French Onion Soup.  Yum!

1. Cheeseburger Steamed Pods: Satu’li Canteen

We are huge fans of everything at Satu’li Canteen in Pandora – The World of Avatar, at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.  If you’re overwhelmed by the options at this other-worldly quick service restaurant, try the beautifully presented Cheeseburger Steamed Pods – Bao Buns.  They’re stuffed with yummy ground beef and condiments, as well as pickles and cheese.  They’re exotic-looking enough to fit in with the Avatar theming, but familiar enough to appeal to even the pickiest eater.  And the Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse is a must for dessert!

About Jason Dick

Jason is a Disney addict. Walt Disney World trips are an annual occurrence that his partner has had to come to terms with. In between Disney trips, he spends his time running the theatre company he started in 2007. As Artistic Director, he picks musicals to bring to his hometown of Hamilton, Ontario Canada that have never been produced in the area. Traveling is definitely a passion and in addition to his trips to the happiest place on earth, he and his partner also travel the world, most recently to India and Nepal. A carnivore by nature, Jason loves the incredible amount of steakhouses Walt Disney World has to offer - they are always at the top of his list for each and every visit.
