Disney’s Hollywood Studios is unique when compared to the other three theme parks in Walt Disney World as it aims to bring guests behind the scenes to make them feel like the stars in their very own Hollywood experience. Guests who spend time in the park can travel into classic films like The Wizard of Oz and Alien, watch big action stunts be pulled off safely, shrink down to the size of a toy, enter into the universes of Star Wars and The Twilight Zone, and rock out with Aerosmith. With so many amazing experiences to be had while enjoying Disney’s Hollywood Studios, guests should be sure to make a list of must dos in order to make the most of each moment and see everything that they want to. While all of the experiences in the park are amazing, there are some that are must dos and simply can’t be missed. Here are ten things to see, do, explore, and eat in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

10. The Great Movie Ride –

Right as guests enter into Disney’s Hollywood Studios they are greeted with a massive replica of Gauman’s Chinese Theater at the end of Hollywood Boulevard. The building is home to The Great Movie Ride which brings guests directly into the movies to feel like Hollywood stars. Guests can enjoy scenes from classic Hollywood films including Casablanca, Fantasia, Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, Alien, and Singing in the Rain. With a live narration and plenty of adventure and action, guests are sure to love The Great Movie Ride.

9. Toy Story Mania

Toy Story Mania is by far the most popular attraction in Disney’s Hollywood Studios with wait times easily exceeding two hours on busy days in the park. Guests are invited to shrink down to the size of toys and participate in a series of 3D midway games hosted by Woody, Buzz, and all of the Toy Story characters. Guests love seeing who can score the highest and return time and time again for some healthy competition. In order to save some time that otherwise would be spent waiting on line guests should either book FastPasses for Toy Story Mania or visit first thing in the morning when the parks opens.

8. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror –

Looming at the end of Sunset Boulevard is the ominous Hollywood Tower Hotel which is home to The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Guests who are brave enough to experience the attraction learn that long ago five guests were struck by lightning in one of the hotel’s elevators and sent directly to The Twilight Zone. Guests soon find themselves on board an evil service elevator and at the mercy of the tower as they head directly to the same fate as those doomed guests.

7. The Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith –

Located right next door to The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is an attraction which brings guests into G Force Records where Aerosmith is recording their latest hit. After being invited backstage at a show across town, guests soon find themselves buckled into super stretch limos and speeding across Downtown Los Angeles to make it in time. With several inversions along the way and dozens of speakers blasting music by the band, this rocking experience is a must do in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

6. Star Tours – The Adventure Continues –

Guests who are fans of the Star Wars films should absolutely not miss Star Tours – The Adventure Continues. The attraction brings guests into the universe of the movies and on a series of 3D adventures. Guests will see familiar places and faces including C3P0, Yoda, Darth Vader, and Princes Leia. Guests love returning to the attraction time and time again as each experience is unique thanks to a program that randomizes the scenes in each ride.
