10 Things We Love Most About Walt Disney World

10. Snacks

Sometimes we think of snacks at a theme park and the only things that come to mind are overpriced boxes of popcorn and average at best pretzels or fried dough. Snacks at Disney are amazing compared to its competitors. With such a wide range of snack options from the classics like turkey legs and churros, to offerings from around the world in Epcot like troll horns and sushi, Disney snacks really offer something for everyone, no matter how picky of an eater you think you might be.

9. Location

Who can complain about the location of Walt Disney World? Especially if you’re from one of the chillier parts of the world, an escape to sunny Orlando, Florida really can be a dream come true. While this location does make for the prime environment for those afternoon showers and intense humidity, many guests find the warm weather to overall be a welcome change from their climates at home, and the heat and humidity have really become part of the Disney experience.

8. Guest service

Disney is the leading company in the industry for providing excellent guest service. This point is definitely one of the things I love most about Walt Disney World. Disney cast members are always available and willing to help with any aspect of your vacation, no matter how crazy of a situation you think you might have.

7. Detailed theming

One thing that really sets Disney apart from the competition is the detailed theming that has gone into the design of the parks and resorts. Disney is truly a theme park in that each themed area transports you to a different place where you become a part of a story. Storytelling is what the Disney company was founded on, and it is used in each endeavor that the company focuses on to this day, regardless of it is in film, television, theme parks, cruise lines, or even sporting events.

6. Nostalgia

Even if you haven’t visited Walt Disney World as a child, there is always some sense of nostalgia that you can experience when going to a Disney park. Whether it be that you’re reminded of the first time you rode Splash Mountain with your family as a child, or that the smell of popcorn brings you back to your first time seeing the fireworks, or even something like meeting a character for the first time who was from one of your favorite childhood movies, nostalgia is a huge part of the Walt Disney World experience.

5. Dining options

Disney has some of the best restaurants that I have ever been to, and I never hesitate to recommend Disney as the perfect vacation destination for self-proclaimed foodies. The restaurants in Epcot alone are enough to tempt any foodie, and then factor in the other parks, resorts, or Disney Springs and Disney is a foodie’s paradise.

4. First class entertainment

As one of the biggest entertainment companies in the world, it is no surprise that the entertainment at Walt Disney World is incredible. If you’ve been aching to see a Broadway show but have never had the chance to, be sure to see some of the musicals offered during your next Disney vacation, like Finding Nemo the Musical, Festival of the Lion King, and Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage

3. So many things to do

Sometimes people who have never been to Disney have this misguided perception that there is nothing to do but meet characters and rides meant for kids. This idea could not be further from the truth. Disney offers a wide variety of activities in addition to the theme parks, like water parks, shopping, dining, dance halls, a dueling piano bar, mini golf, bowling, and recreational activities just to name a few.

2. Fun for everyone

If you find that you have a large family, or even a small family where you find it hard to please everyone, Disney can be the perfect vacation for you. With so many different things to do at Walt Disney World, it is not difficult to find something that each member of the family will enjoy.

1. Always something different

No matter how many times you’ve been to Walt Disney World, there will always be something new and exciting for you to enjoy. If you visit the parks on a regular basis, it might be as simple as something you’ve never done before. If you only visit once every couple of years, then there will definitely be something new to enjoy during each trip. Regardless of how often you visit the parks, you’ll always find something different to do each time you visit.
