We could wrap this article up very quickly and simply say EVERYTHING is what we love most about Walt Disney World! But, if having to select the 10 things we love the most… these ten would be our top picks!

10. Food

Walt Disney World has some of the best food I’ve ever had, so it’s no surprise that Disney’s food has made it onto this list. From snacks, like churros, turkey legs, and Dole whips, to meals from signature restaurants like Flying Fish Café or Victoria and Albert’s, Disney has such a wide variety of food that is sure to please any appetite, and of course all of it is delicious.

9. Resorts

The amount of detail and elaborate theming that goes into designing each of the Disney resorts is unparalleled by any other travel destination. Disney’s resorts are not your run of the mill chain hotels, but rather just like the parks, each resort tells a specific story, that comes across to guests through the details in the design, architecture, and artwork of the resort.

8. Shows

Being an entertainment company, it is no surprise that the shows at Walt Disney World are second to none. The shows at the Disney parks have actually spoiled me into expecting a higher level of entertainment everywhere I go, which clearly is not always the case. Though in general a theme park is known for rides, the shows in Disney truly are first class and are not to be missed.

7. Attractions

The rides in Walt Disney World are different from the rides in any other theme park. Each ride in a Disney park was carefully designed by Imagineers, and each attraction tells a story in a way that other theme parks can simply not compete with. When you go on a rollercoaster in Disney, you’re not just going up a lift hill and down a steep drop for the thrill of it, you’re going through Mt. Everest, attempting to escape from the mythical creature, the Yeti.

6. Attention to detail

The amount of detail that goes into each area of the Walt Disney World resort is something that cannot be experienced anywhere else. Any other theme park or resort, does not do the kind of research that Disney does, nor goes through any portion of the design process that Disney painstakingly goes through in creating each area of the park. From architectural designs that are accurate to other countries, to details like peanuts engraved into the pavement at Storybook Circus, no other destination compares with the attention to detail you can see at Walt Disney World.

5. Great place to go for the holidays

Walt Disney World is probably the best place that I can think of to vacation for the holidays. Whether you’re there for Easter, Christmas, or even Halloween, any holiday at the Walt Disney World Resort brings new decorations, shows, entertainment, special events, and shopping opportunities that are limited to that time of year. Instead of having the same old Thanksgiving dinner at home, why not spend the week in Disney, catching up with some of the characters and dining in the Magic Kingdom for dinner?

4. Fun ways to celebrate special occasions

The Disney parks are the perfect place to go to celebrate any special occasion. From birthdays, anniversaries, honeymoons, engagements, and family reunions, or anything else, Disney is a great place to celebrate your special occasion, whatever it may be. Even without doing anything extra, little things like meeting your favorite character on your birthday, or watching Happily Ever After with your new husband or wife, can have a whole different, and very exciting feeling compared to how those experiences would be minus the special occasions.

3. Each trip is different

Every trip to Walt Disney World brings with it new experiences, and new memories. Not only because the parks are constantly expanding and changing, but because you’re also changing. Think about how different your memories from each trip will be if you go when you were a child, when you have kids of your own, and when you have grandchildren to bring along with you. While each trip might have you essentially doing the same exact things, the experience and memories will be different due to the different times in your life that you’re at.

2. Something for every member of the family

Disney is one of the few vacations that can truly please each member of the family. Whether you’re the grandparents who just want to take it slow and relax a little bit more, or the thrill-ride hungry teenagers racing to get to Tower of Terror, there is something for everyone to do during a Walt Disney World vacation.

1. So much to see and do!

Because there is so much to see and do, you’ll never get tired of visiting Walt Disney World. I’ve been to the parks more times than I can count, but I can still think of so many things I haven’t done yet. And aside from the regular things I know I haven’t done, there will continually be new experiences each year at the resort, giving me more and more reasons to go back. One of the things that I love most about Walt Disney World, is the fact that I’ll always have the desire to go back because there really is so much to see that it’s impossible to get it all into one trip.
