1. Your Name In Lights

After waiting in the outside portion of the queue, guests enter into G Force Records through a circular lobby where posters advertising musical acts can be found lining the walls. Some of these acts are mega popular stars that most guests are familiar with, but others seem a little more obscure. That is because many guests’ names appear on the posters as they pass through the room! Using technology and a little Disney magic, the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith totally immerses guests in the experience by having their names and hometowns appear on these posters as if they were having their very own concert.

2. Preshow

Once properly inside of G Force Records, guests make their way into a recording studio where the band Aerosmith can be found finishing up a session. The band’s manager soon appears and tells them that they are running late for a concert across town. At this point, the band realizes that all of the guests are watching them and promptly invites them all to come with. After taking off in a super stretch limo, the manager calls in a favor for a super stretch limo which should be waiting in the alley outside. Throughout the preshow, guests should definitely look around and take in all of the details including a Hidden Mickey that can be found on the floor made out of coiled cables.

3. Sneak Peek

At the conclusion of the preshow, the doors swing open and guests spill out into the city alley outside. Found there is the final portion of the queue and the loading platform as well as a sneak peek of the amazing thrills that are to come. Just on the other side of a chain link fence is the initial launch sequence of the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith where guests go from zero to sixty in only seconds. Guests who are waiting to board can watch this launch and get pumped up for their upcoming thrills!

4. The Loops

The Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith is hands down one of the most thrilling attractions in both Disney’s Hollywood Studios and all of Walt Disney World thanks to its speed and amazing launch. However, there is another detail of the attraction which makes it completely unique in Walt Disney World. The Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith is the only attraction in the four theme parks of Walt Disney World which features inversions and loops. Guests who enjoy a ride on the attraction can enjoy a loop and corkscrew that are sure to leave them screaming!

5. Rocking Out

One of the most important parts of the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith is the music! After all, the whole backstory of the attraction is that guests are in G Force Records where they happen to run into Aerosmith and strike up the right kind of friendship. Throughout the queue and preshow, guests can listen to some great music, but once on board the super stretch limos, the experience is taken to the next level! Each super stretch limo features dozens of speakers that blast out Aerosmith tunes. In addition, each limo features its own track that matches the length of the attraction and has snippets of several different Aerosmith songs. Guests who listen closely might also hear an interesting change in lyrics that reads “love in a roller coaster” instead of the classic Aerosmith song “Love in an Elevator.”

About Caitlin Kane

Caitlin Kane first started visiting Walt Disney World when she was two years old, and despite spending most of that trip quarantined with the chicken pox she managed to fall in love with the place. Visiting WDW every year since, she especially loves learning all about the history and small details of the parks and eating/drinking her way through the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival each fall. When she's not in Disney, Caitlin lives in New York and spends her time counting down the days to her next trip.
