Many guests assume that the food found in Walt Disney World is only standard theme park fare like hot dogs and hamburgers, but they are totally wrong! Guests who are looking to constantly be on the go while on vacation or who are looking for quicker and cheaper meal options should consider Quick Service dining locations which are scattered around the parks, Disney Resorts, and Disney Springs. 6. Free Toppings Bar –

Guests who are dining in the Magic Kingdom have several quick service options to choose from with plenty of delicious and unique options to enjoy. A great way to make a meal go from ordinary to extravagant is to take advantage of free toppings bars which are equipped with everything from dipping sauces to add on vegetables like lettuce and tomatoes. Simple additions can make each meal personalized for guests and give them more bang for their buck. Two locations which feature free toppings bars in the Magic Kingdom are Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Café and Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café.

5. Columbia Harbour House’s Second Floor –

Another amazing option for a Quick Service meal in the Magic Kingdom can be found in Liberty Square directly across from the Haunted Mansion. The Columbia Harbour House serves up traditional American and seafood options in a nautical setting. Guests can enjoy Fried Shrimp, Chicken Tenders, and a Lighthouse Sandwich while surrounded by dark wood paneling, nautical props and touches, and original artwork. Many guests don’t realize that the restaurant has a second floor which is always less crowded, features an additional bathroom, and is full of tables against large windows which offer wonderful views of Liberty Square and the Rivers of America.

4. Flame Tree Barbecue’s Back Patio –

Guests who are looking for a Quick Service dining options in Disney’s Animal Kingdom can smell an amazing option on Discovery Island before spotting it! Flame Tree Barbecue serves up some amazing smelling and delicious traditional barbecue options for lunch and dinner including St. Louis Ribs, Pulled Pork Sandwich, and Jamaican Jerk Chicken Salad. Many guests don’t realize that behind the ordering counters there is a back patio along the river where guests can enjoy their meals while overlooking the water that hold the backside of Rivers of Light, not to mention the sweeping views of Expedition Everest across the way.

3. Tonga Toast –

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is home to some amazing dining options including the Full Service ‘Ohana and Kona Café. Guests who enjoy breakfast at Kona Café can chow down on one of the most delicious items in all of Walt Disney World. Tonga Toast is fried sourdough bread stuffed with bananas ad smothered in cinnamon sugar. Guests might think that they can only enjoy Tonga Toast with a Full Service meal but they are wrong! Also found at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is the Quick Service location Capt. Cook’s which serves up Tonga Toast as a fast and easy breakfast option!

2. Be Our Guest Restaurant’s Unique Set Up –

One of the most popular restaurants in the Magic Kingdom can be found in New Fantasyland and invites guests into the classic Disney animated film Beauty and the Beast. Be Our Guest Restaurant brings guests directly into the Beast’s Castle and allows them to enjoy traditional French cuisine in the Grand Ballroom, West Wing, or Castle Gallery. The restaurant is very unique in that it is the only one in Walt Disney World which is a Quick Service location for breakfast and lunch and a Full Service location for dinner. Guests who enjoy breakfast and lunch there can dine on options like a Croque Monsieur, Vegetable Quiche, Tuna Nicoise Salad, and Quinoa Salad.

1. School Bread –

Epcot is home to some of the most delicious and unique dining options in Walt Disney World thanks to the eleven pavilions of World Showcase. Each pavilion highlights a different country from around the world and features traditional cuisine from that area. The Norway Pavilion is home to a small Quick Service bakery which features one of the most delicious snacks in all of Walt Disney World. Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe serves up meal options like a Norwegian Club and Ham and Apple Sandwich as well as wonderful pastries. School Bread features a cardamom bun filled with vanilla custard and topped with shaved coconut. It is one of the most unique and delicious options to enjoy on a Disney vacation and should not be missed!
