6. Transportation options and proximity to parks

This dining location is at the Beach Club resort, which just so happens to be a boat ride from Disney’s Hollywood Studios at well as the World Showcase entrance to Epcot. This makes this location easy to access even when you are enjoying a day at one of the parks. Your kids are sure to enjoy the boat ride, too, since kids seem to have a true love for Disney transportation. What’s better than an amazing meal, plus a relaxing boat ride when you are enjoying the hustle and bustle of the parks?

5. Amazing Atmosphere

Beaches & Cream is set up with like a diner with a very 50’s beach-type feel. You get the bright, vibrant colors, the fun staff and even a jukebox. This is a true soda shop type of experience and not comparable to any other dining location on property in terms of experience, atmosphere or menu. Don’t forget to try soda with your favorite add-ons, just like you would encounter at any other soda shop you have visited. It’s so much fun!

4. Delicious Food Options

The food here is really, really good. It is standard diner food, only taken up a notch. The Seafood Salad Sandwich is absolutely amazing, and their burger is definitely worth the trip. There is no way that you will leave hungry, or feeling like you didn’t get a delicious meal, especially with the numerous dessert options to top off your meal. We are big time Disney Dining fans, and this place is definitely unique and a favorite.

3. The Prices

This location is pretty affordable for a table service location at Disney. The most expensive meal item on the menu is around $16, which is definitely on the lower end compared to other table-service menus. This leaves room in the budget for the family to enjoy delicious desserts after your meal and not feel like you are breaking the bank.

2. Dessert Options

This dining location really is themed to be an ice cream / soda shop location, which means that you get the benefit of a nice, long dessert menu. There are numerous combinations of ice cream flavors, brownies, syrups, cakes and more. You can even help create your own concoction. Either way, I am sure that you won’t go wrong and will leave with a sugar high!

1. The Kitchen Sink

If you haven’t heard of or experienced the Kitchen Sink, then you need to add this to your must-do list. This is a huge dessert that is served in a “kitchen sink”. It serves four and has just about everything you can imagine in it, including scoop after scoop of different ice cream flavors, brownies, cookies, candies, fudge, whipped cream and more. This dessert could be a meal all in itself for a family of four, so you want to make sure that you save room for this one!

About Christy Caby

I am a diehard Disney fanatic! I fell in love with all things Disney from an early age and that only increased once I first visited Walt Disney World! It led me to complete a yearlong Disney College Program working at merchandise locations within Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Disney-MGM Studios at that time) and I worked for Disney Parks & Resorts Technology in Project/Program Management. Now I get to write about Disney and help others plan their magical vacations! Disney holds a special place in the hearts of my entire family as my husband proposed there, we honeymooned there, took trips while pregnant with each of my boys and have visited with them many, many times from 8 weeks old through now. One of my favorite memories from each trip is always the look on my kids’ faces the first time they see the castle. I’d love to help you plan your magical vacation!
