One of the most notorious and desired restaurants on property is Cinderella’s Royal Table. This is one of the most difficult restaurants to get reservations for, even at the 180 day mark. The preferred times fill up almost instantly, especially during peak seasons. It is definitely with good reason. Everything about the restaurant is grand and spectacular with the level of detail that we all expect and love from Disney. We love to visit this restaurant for various special occasions, birthdays, celebrations, etc. since it feels like one of the most magical restaurants on property. Here are 6 things that you will love about Cinderella’s Royal Table:

6. Dining in Cinderella Castle

It is hard to beat the location of the restaurant. You get the privilege of dining in the upstairs ballroom of the castle. The decor is completely top notch with every detail perfectly tied to the theme. You are treated as a grand guest from the moment that you check in and it sets the tone for the amazing experience that will ensue as you make your way up the grand stairs to the ballroom.

5. The View

The castle lives at the end of Main Street in the Magic Kingdom and faces the entrance. The back side of the castle faces Fantasyland with the carousel and other attractions behind it. You have a unique vantage point of Magic Kingdom that you can’t get anywhere else on property. You get to view the happenings and the hustle and bustle from within the grand surroundings of the castle.

4. Character Interactions

If you love princesses and characters from Cinderella, this is the place for you. The characters treat you like royalty engage with you in a way that is more intimate when meeting them inside the parks. They come around to your table, so you get to enjoy your meal and wait for them to come to you. They will take pictures, sign autographs and interact with your whole family together.

3. The meal is a set price

You have likely heard how costly Cinderella’s Royal Table is compared to other dining options at Disney World. If this is a desired spot for your family (and we recommend that you go at least once), you do get the benefit of the set price of the meal. You pay for the meal at the time that you make the reservation and this cost includes gratuity, so you know exactly what you pay, and you don’t have to worry about payment or gratuity arrangements when you are there for your meal. It makes it more convenient and easier to budget around.

2. Family photo and extras

Upon entering the castle, you get your photo taken . At most other character interactions, this photo costs extra if you wish to purchase the picture that was taken. At Cinderella’s Royal Table, you get to keep the picture as part of your dining package. Each child is also given a sword or wand and maybe a couple other extras to make the experience memorable and magical for your family. The extra touches add a lot of value and justify the added costs, especially with the location.

1. Special occasion options

No one does magical moments quite like Disney. Cinderella’s Royal Table offers various packages for proposals, anniversaries, etc. to make special moments with your family even more magical. You can likely make arrangements for most celebrations and make them something that you can’t get anywhere else. You will want to contact the restaurant in advance to check on availability (the restaurant will only allow one proposal package per service) and make arrangements.

About Christy Caby

I am a diehard Disney fanatic! I fell in love with all things Disney from an early age and that only increased once I first visited Walt Disney World! It led me to complete a yearlong Disney College Program working at merchandise locations within Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Disney-MGM Studios at that time) and I worked for Disney Parks & Resorts Technology in Project/Program Management. Now I get to write about Disney and help others plan their magical vacations! Disney holds a special place in the hearts of my entire family as my husband proposed there, we honeymooned there, took trips while pregnant with each of my boys and have visited with them many, many times from 8 weeks old through now. One of my favorite memories from each trip is always the look on my kids’ faces the first time they see the castle. I’d love to help you plan your magical vacation!
