The Haunted Mansion in Liberty Square is housed in an ominous mansion up on the hill which features an interactive graveyard leading up to its massive front doors. 8. Toy Story Land –

Get ready to shrink down to the size of toy while having a blast in Andy’s backyard! Toy Story Land is open at Hollywood Studios and we for one can’t get enough of the fun atmosphere and incredible attractions. The “oldie” but goodie in the land, Toy Story Mania, is still as popular as ever with it’s 3D, arcade style ride. Slinky Dog Dash however is stealing the spotlight! Slinky Dog Dash is a family-friendly coaster where Slinky Dog takes guests on dips and turns throughout Andy’s backyard. After the coaster, get your Alien fix! That’s right, the little green Aliens from Toy Story have their own attraction known as Alien Swirling Saucers. Smooth spins and turns make for a fun attraction that we dare you not to smile on! Outside of these attractions, Woody’s Lunch Box is a great quick-service option with tasty eats. Take in the sights and sounds of the land as you let your inner child out to play!

7. Spaceship Earth –

Epcot is a unique park that celebrates history and technology with educational and entertaining attractions. Spaceship Earth is the attraction which welcomes guests to the park and is housed in a massive silver geodesic sphere which is covered in futuristic triangles. The attraction brings guests from the beginning of time to modern day to celebrate the history of communication through scenes depicting important moments in history like the burning of Rome, man landing on the moon, and the Renaissance. No trip to Epcot is complete without experiencing Spaceship Earth!

6. Pandora – The World of Avatar –

Pandora – The World of Avatar is the newest land in the Animal Kingdom theme park. Here you will find two extremely popular attractions known as Avatar Flight of Passage and Na’vi River Journey. You can expect a thrilling ride on Avatar Flight of Passage as you climb aboard a Banshee (dragon-like creature) and ride through the beautiful World of Avatar. The Na’vi River Journey is a perfect family-friendly attraction as guests boat down river and see just how beautiful the Na’vi tribe’s rainforest is with bioluminescence lighting and the latest animatronics. Outside of these two attractions, the land is almost like an attraction itself with stunning beauty and ability to interact with guests!

5. Kilimanjaro Safaris –

Disney’s Animal Kingdom is the newest of the four theme parks in Walt Disney World and celebrates the beauty of the environment and the importance of preserving it. One of the most popular attractions in the park is Kilimanjaro Safaris which invites guests to embark on a two week safari through the Harambe Reserve. The safari travels through forests and the African savannah to allow guests to experience up close encounters with animals like elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, cheetahs, and hippos. The best part about Kilimanjaro Safaris is that each experience is unique thanks to the unpredictable behavior of wild animals.

Another Hollywood Studios must-do for die hard fans! On select nights in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater is host to a wonderful nighttime celebration titled Fantasmic! The show brings guests into Mickey’s imagination where a battle between good and evil is occurring. Fantasmic! is wonderful to watch as it combines pyrotechnics, special effects, Disney music and characters, dancing water, projected animation, and a massive dragon to combine for the ultimate way to end a day in Disney’s Hollywood Studios! About Caitlin Kane

Caitlin Kane first started visiting Walt Disney World when she was two years old, and despite spending most of that trip quarantined with the chicken pox she managed to fall in love with the place. Visiting WDW every year since, she especially loves learning all about the history and small details of the parks and eating/drinking her way through the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival each fall. When she's not in Disney, Caitlin lives in New York and spends her time counting down the days to her next trip.
