7. Great Movie Ride –

After passing through the gates of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, guests are immediately drawn down Hollywood Boulevard towards a replica of Grauman’s Chinese Theater. Housed inside is the Great Movie Ride which brings guests directly into the movies through iconic scenes from films like Casablanca, the Wizard of Oz, Singing in the Rain, Mary Poppins, Tarzan, and Fantasia. Guests can enjoy a thrilling performance by a Cast Member which involves a western shootout and a cursed temple with a hidden jewel. With so many movie adventures to be had on one attraction, it is no wonder why guests love the Great Movie Ride.

6. Toy Story Mania

Pixar Place is home to one of the most popular attractions in all of Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Toy Story Mania shrinks guests down to the size of toys and brings them through a series of 3D midway games hosted by Woody, Buzz, and the gang. Each midway game features different targets which react in real time and pack a few surprises along the way. Guests love returning to Toy Story Mania over and over again to engage in some friendly competition and try and beat their best scores!

5. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith –

Those ready to rock out can head down Sunset Boulevard for a thrilling attraction. The Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith invites guests into G Force Records where the band is recording their latest hit. After being invited to a concert across town, guests soon find themselves strapped into a super stretch limo and rocketing through the neon lights of Los Angeles.

4. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror –

Located right next door to the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith is an attraction which is sure to both thrill and creep out guests. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror brings guests into the Hollywood Tower Hotel which was abandoned years ago after five guests were struck by lightning in an elevator and trapped inside The Twilight Zone. Guests soon find themselves in for the same fate after boarding a service elevator that is at the mercy of the hotel.

3. The “Force Is Strong –

There is a strong presence of “the force” at Hollywood Studios… the Star Wars force! With the March of the First Order, Jedi Training, Star Tours, Star Wars Launch Bay, and the incredible nighttime experience – Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular – it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by these epic options. Guests who are looking to enjoy a performance can head down Sunset Boulevard to enjoy a showing of Beauty and the Beast – Live On Stage. The musical retells the story from the classic Disney animated film and guests can sing along with Belle, the Beast, Lumiere, and Cogsworth. The highlight of the show is the performance of “Be Our Guest” in which all of the characters come to life dancing and singing. Guests should be aware that Beauty and the Beast – Live On Stage only runs several times each day, so they should consult a times guide for show times.

1. Fantasmic! –

On select nights in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, guests can head to the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater for a show that is both amazing and immersive. Since Fantasmic! is so popular, guests should line up at the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater at least an hour before show time to guarantee a seat inside.

About Caitlin Kane

Caitlin Kane first started visiting Walt Disney World when she was two years old, and despite spending most of that trip quarantined with the chicken pox she managed to fall in love with the place. Visiting WDW every year since, she especially loves learning all about the history and small details of the parks and eating/drinking her way through the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival each fall. When she's not in Disney, Caitlin lives in New York and spends her time counting down the days to her next trip.
