Of the four theme parks in Walt Disney World many guests love visiting Epcot the most. The park is divided into two halves which each embody different spirits but combine to form a cohesive whole. Future World celebrates the unity of technology and nature through unique experiences that allow guests to blast into space, dive beneath the seas, and travel back to the time of the dinosaurs. World Showcase occupies the rear of the park and celebrates the culture, architecture, cuisine, traditions, and people of eleven different countries from around the world. Guests love spending time in World Showcase not only exploring the pavilions but also enjoy drinks from each country! Guests love drinking around the world in Epcot by sampling a beverage from each of the eleven countries, making for a fun and exciting time in the park. 7. They Have All Day –

Epcot isn’t like the other three theme parks in Walt Disney World as it opens in two separate waves each day. Future World generally opens to the public at nine in the morning and World Showcase usually opens two hours later at eleven. Depending on the season, the park is usually open to nine or ten each night, leaving plenty of time to fully enjoy the park each day. Guests who are looking to drink around the world in Epcot should arrive at the park when it opens to enjoy Future World for several hours. Once World Showcase is about to open, guests should move to the back of the park and begin their day long journey of enjoying Epcot! By being in World Showcase as it opens, guests ensure that they will have the entire afternoon and evening to really take their time and pace themselves drinking and have a great time.

Since there are eleven different countries in World Showcase, guests are treated to a huge variety of beverages to choose from. Each country offers several options including beer, wine, and liquor so that no matter what a guest’s preference there is sure to be a drink that they love.

Each country of World Showcase is so rich in detail and culture that guests truly feel as though they have traveled across the world to a foreign land. The cuisine and drinks in each country also reflect the traditions and culture of each country by including traditional ingredients and preparations. Since these drink options are culturally true, they generally can’t be found anywhere else in Walt Disney World making them great options to try while drinking around the world in Epcot. Since there are so many unique options to try while visiting World Showcase, a great way to sample more than one in each country is to gather a group of friends or family for the day and order serval drinks in each pavilion to share. This allows guests to sample several different options without overdoing it.

4. Being Able To Pause For A Meal –

Disney insiders know the importance of taking breaks while drinking around the world to both hydrate and eat. Luckily each country in World Showcase features at least one full service dining option to choose from! The full service dining options include traditional cuisines from around the world that are sure to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters. In addition to full service dining locations there are also dozens of quick service locations to enjoy as well. Guests who are drinking around the world in Epcot can enjoy small samples of food from quick service locations in each country as they go and also opt to stop for a full service meal in one particular country. By stopping for a break, guests who are drinking in Epcot can refuel, cool off in the air conditioning, and also hydrate with plenty of water. Some of the most popular full service dining locations in World Showcase are Le Cellier Steakhouse in Canada, the San Angel Inn Restaurante in Mexico, Via Napoli in Italy, and Monsieur Paul in France.

3. Food & Wine Festival –

Guests who enjoy drinking around Epcot especially love visiting the park during the fall months. In September, October, and November the park plays host to the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival where over thirty marketplace booths are added around World Showcase Lagoon. Each booth offers up several food and drink options that are traditional to the area of the world that it is representing. Guests who are looking for a different way to drink around Epcot should be sure to visit during the festival and enjoy drink options that aren’t available during any other time of year.

Pausing between drinks allows guests plenty of time to fully explore and enjoy each country in World Showcase. Guests should also pause in several pavilions and enjoy the attractions that are offered there. 1. Enjoy Illuminations –

One of the best parts about drinking around Epcot is picking up a drink just before the park is about to close and sipping on it while enjoying Illuminations: Reflections of Earth. Each night World Showcase Lagoon comes to life with the show that combines fireworks, laser lights, dancing water, and pyrotechnics to tell a beautiful story about unity. Since Illuminations is so popular, guests should find a good viewing spot up to an hour early and have one member of their party purchase drinks shortly before the show starts. Guests can then cap off a great day drinking around Epcot by enjoying Illuminations and a beverage at the same time.
