8 Awesome Reasons Everyone Should Visit Walt Disney World

8. Classic attractions

Whether or not you’ve ever actually been to Walt Disney World, you probably know of some of the resort’s most popular attractions. Most people tend to know of the most classic attractions, such as the Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain, and Pirates of the Caribbean. It’s really exciting for any Disney fan to experience these attractions, but it’s extra special for first time visitors to finally have the opportunity to finally experience these classic rides that they’ve heard so much about.

7. Entertainment

As an entertainment company, it’s not surprising at all that Walt Disney World features a number of first class shows and performances in its theme parks. Some shows guests can see at Disney World are essentially twenty minute versions of Broadway productions. Few other theme parks, or vacation destinations in general, can even begin to compare with the entertainment offerings at Disney, making this an excellent reason why everyone should visit the resort someday.

6. Food

If you’re a self-proclaimed foodie who hasn’t been to Disney World yet, you really need to work on changing that! Not only is all of the food at Disney delicious, but there are so many different restaurants and menu items to choose from that you won’t have any problems finding things that everyone in your family will enjoy. Epcot alone has offerings from all of the different countries in World Showcase, and the Disney resorts have some of the best fine dining options at any vacation destination.

5. Focus on detail

One thing that really sets Disney apart from other theme parks is the striking attention to detail that can be found in every attraction, resort, area, and even restaurant and character meet and greet locations. Each and every part of a Disney theme park is intricately designed to fully immerse guests into a story. Where other theme parks simply use a color scheme as reasoning for the theme of a rollercoaster, Disney creates a story for the attraction and then uses such an attention to detail that guests experiencing the attraction become a part of the story.

4. Guest service

Disney’s guest service is second to none, and is envied by every competitor in the hospitality and tourism industry—or any company in customer service as well for that matter. Disney’s amazing guest service is another aspect that really does set this company apart from any others, and it’s a huge factor in choosing to vacation there. Guests who visit the Walt Disney World Resort do so knowing that they’ll be experiencing the best service the travel industry has to offer.

3. Something for everyone

There are few vacation destinations that the entire family really can agree on. Disney is pretty agreeable simply because there is so much to do. If some members of your family are looking for a relaxing vacation by the pool, you’ll be able to choose from a variety of Disney resorts, all with very nice pools to lounge by. If you’re looking for more recreational offerings, there are plenty of non-theme park things to do at the resort like fishing, golfing, horseback riding, and parasailing just to name a few. And of course, there are tons of different things to do in the theme parks, from shows, parades, classic attractions, thrill rides, characters, and fun dining options among others.

2. Unique from other theme parks

Compared to other theme parks, Disney simply has a lot more to offer. Before even mentioning the design of the parks and attractions, it’s safe to say that Disney has a lot more to offer in the forms of dining, resorts, and recreation than other theme parks. Aside from these more obvious points, Disney’s parks have so much more attention to detail than other parks in the industry, and the rides succeed in telling stories where other theme park attractions generally fail. While Disney may not be the leader in having the most thrilling attractions, the attractions at Disney do offer the most in terms of telling a story, which is really what the Walt Disney Company is based on anyway.

1. It’s the best vacation spot

This point is obviously biased, coming from a writer of this website, but in my opinion, Disney really is the best vacation spot. Other destinations cannot compete with the attention to detail or level of service that Disney offers, and aside from my own personal liking towards all things Disney, these things further solidify my decision to name this resort as the best vacation spot.
