1. Flame Tree Barbecue
This eatery at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is always a must-do when I’m in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. You can catch the mouthwatering scents of barbeque goodness just walking through Discovery Island. Order a delicious plate of ribs, pulled pork, or chicken, accompanied by tasty sides of baked beans and coleslaw. Follow the winding path to find seating under colorful shady pavilions and by peaceful ponds.
2. Be Our Guest Restaurant
Everyone knows a dinner reservation at Be Our Guest in the Magic Kingdom is very hard to get. Make a reservation for breakfast or lunch instead, and dine like royalty inside of the Beast’s castle. Breakfast and lunch are only one dining credit and is offered as a quick-service meal, but this is not your average quick-service restaurant. Upon entering the castle, guests place their order at a touch-screen and find a seat in one of the castle’s three enchanted dining rooms. A server magically finds your table and delivers a delicious meal. Unlike other quick-service places, guests dine on real dishes, not paper and plastic. It’s also a good idea to make a reservation for both breakfast and lunch, because any meal in the Beast’s castle is still wildly popular.
3. Yorkshire County Fish Shop
You can never go wrong with the classic British favorite of fish and chips at the Yorkshire County Fish Shop. Be prepared for a line at this popular spot, but it’s well worth the wait. Order a cold point of Bass or Harp and find a bench across the path by the gazebo to enjoy your meal. You might be able to catch a great performance by the British Revolution as they entertain the crowd with classic British rock tunes.

4. La Cantina de San Angel
Bring on the margaritas at La Cantina de San Angel, an outdoor quick-service restaurant located in the Mexico pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase. With seating in a lovely pavilion overlooking the lagoon, this eatery is a true gem. Guests can enjoy a delicious meal listening to the nearby mariachi band while dining on Mexican favorites like soft tacos, empanadas, nachos, and churros.
5. Satu’li Canteen
Travel to Pandora in Disney’s Animal Kingdom for a unique dining experience at the Satu’li Canteen. This quick-service restaurant serves up big helpings of atmosphere, impressive details, and great food. Step into the hut-like building, and you’re suddenly inside of a mess hall used by the Resources Development Administration (RDA) from the Avatar movie. The menu offers delicious chicken, beef, shrimp bowls, and drinks as exotic as the rest of Pandora.
6. Cookes of Dublin
Featuring scrumptious Irish dishes similar to those served at nearby Raglan Road, Cookes of Dublin is a quick-service gem. Located in the Landing section of Disney Springs, dine al fresco or choose limited eating inside and enjoy chicken and mushroom or lamb pie, battered sausages, or smoked haddock along with a variety of choices from the bar.
7. Casey’s Corner
Follow the catchy melodies of ragtime piano music to Casey’s Corner, an eatery sparkling with baseball nostalgia. Just like at a baseball game, place your order for savory hot dogs topped with chili and cheese, corn dog nuggets, and salty French fries. Casey’s offers a Hot Dog of the Month too for the more adventurous eater. Finish your meal with all American favorites like cotton candy and Cracker Jacks.
8. ABC Commissary
Ever wonder what it might be like to be behind the scenes at a Hollywood backlot? Check out the ABC Commissary at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and relax in air-conditioned comfort with a tasty meal and a taste of what it’s like to dine on a movie set. The menu here offers items that aren’t commonly found at many quick-service restaurants, like Mediterranean salads, BBQ ribs, and seafood platters. Classic favorites can be found here too, as well as desserts perfect for your sweet tooth.
