8 Things You’ll Love About Chicken Guy at Walt Disney World

Chicken Guy is one of the newer dining locations to join Disney Springs.  It is a restaurant created by celebrity chef, Guy Fieri, and the owner of Planet Hollywood, Robert Earl.  If you haven’t been able to check it out yet, then here are 8 things you are going to love about Chicken Guy:

8. The amazing hand-made chicken.

The chicken at the location is hand-pounded and then breaded.  This is done fresh each day at the location.  This means that the tenders are delicious, fresh and juicy.  You can also order them grilled if you don’t prefer the breaded option.  The grilled chicken tenders are prepared on skewers, so that you can still easily dip them into sauces and eat them without the need for a knife and fork.

7. Over 20 house-made sauces.

I am definitely a sauce junkie, so when I heard that Chicken Guy would have all of these amazing sauce options, I got extremely excited!  There are over 20 sauces that are all made in-house.  They come in pre-poured containers so you don’t have to try to fill them all yourself in order to give them a try.  They are broken down into categories including Guy’s Favorites, The Classics and Hot ‘N’ Spicy.  There are options like:  Special Sauce, Donkey Sauce, Wasabi Honey, Curry Mayo, Chipotle Ranch, Buffalo, Bleu Cheese, Lemon Pepper and so many more!

6. You don’t need a reservation.

Since the location is a quick service dining location, then that means that there are no reservations.  You don’t have to worry about getting in, since you can always get in!  You can always show up whenever you like and order some of the delicious chicken!  This allows your schedule to be flexible so that you don’t have watch the clock waiting for a reservation time.

5. The great prices.

The prices are really reasonable, especially for Walt Disney World!  You can get an order of three tenders for $5.99.  Of course you can order larger orders if you are on the hungrier side.  You can also get The Sauce Boss signature sandwich for $5.99.  You can also add fries and a drink to make it a meal, too!  The price is great compared to many of the other dining locations, especially for such amazing food!

4. There are a variety of sandwich options.

You might not think that there can be many unique options for chicken sandwiches, but Chicken Guy took care of that.  There are 5 different amazing signature sandwich options and you can choose whether you want the chicken to be crispy and fried or grilled in each one of them.  The options are The Sauce Boss, The CG Classic, Bourbon Brown Sugar BBQ, Big Bite B.L.A.T. and Southwestern.  I don’t even know how you would pick a favorite, so I would just recommend trying them all!

3. You need to save room for dessert.

There are two different amazing Flavortown Frozen Treats at the location that you won’t want to miss.  The location may focus on chicken, but the dessert options are amazing.  There is the Triple Double Mint and the Cinnamon Apple.  My favorite, the Triple Double Mint is hand-spun mint chocolate soft serve with crushed cookies, chocolate mints, chocolate syrup and fresh whipped cream.  There is also the Cinnamon Apple which is hand-spun vanilla soft serve with Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Apple Jacks cereal, plus fresh whipped cream.  Which one would you pick?

2. There are delicious salad options!

If you are worried that the other options may be too heavy, then there are also three amazing salad options.  There is the Chopped Chicken Caesar, BBQ Chopped Chicken and the Southwest Sweet Corn.  You can select if you prefer crispy fried or grilled chicken tenders.  You won’t go wrong either way, but the Southwest Sweet Corn is delicious with charred corn, slaw, roasted peppers, black beans, tomatoes, red onions, grilled scallions and crispy tortilla strips.  The salad is served with Cumin Lime Mojo and Chipotle Ranch sauces (these are also dipping options if you order tenders).  These salads are definitely a delicious trip to Flavortown.

Chicken Guy is located within the Town Center area of Disney Springs.  Disney Springs is full of shopping and entertainment experiences for guests to enjoy. You can take a little break from all of the fun to dine and Chicken Guy and then get right back to it.
