This amazing dining and beverage location can be found within The Landing area of Disney Springs.  If you haven’t been able to check out Enzo’s Hideaway Tunnel Bar yet, then these 8 things below are definitely going to have you planning your visit:

8. The unique backstory for the location

Everything at Walt Disney World tends to have a purpose and some kind of backstory.  This is especially true for many of the food and beverage locations, even at Disney Springs.  The backstory for Enzo’s Hideaway is that an Italian immigrant, Enzo, bought the former air terminal located in Disney Springs.  He learned about an area located underneath the terminal where there were tunnels that were used during the Prohibition Era.  From here he came up with the idea for Enzo’s Hideaway!  Enzo is also the husband to Maria, as part of the story for the dining location next door, Maria & Enzo’s.

7. The drink selection

The drinks are perfectly themed for the location, as well as delicious! For those looking for non-alcoholic beverages, there is a collection of Mocktails.  For those that want some of the “Giggle Water”, you will have a wide variety to choose from.  My favorite is the El Passion which is made with 1800 Silver Tequila, Grand Marnier, cranberry and lime.  You will also find beer and wine offerings if you prefer those over cocktails.

6.  The location accepts reservations

Many guests may think of this is just a bar/lounge type of location that wouldn’t accept reservations.  That is definitely not the case, and in fact reservations are strongly recommended.  The location is very popular so if you want to get in then it would definitely be worthwhile to make a reservation when you can!  Of course walk-ins are also taken based on availability.  There is also a specific lounge area for Enzo’s, so can also check that out for small plates and drinks!

5.  There are frequently special events

There are frequently special events offered at Enzo’s Hideaway.  These could be tasting events, brunches and more.  On Sunday’s the location offers Sunday Supper, which includes a variety of great offerings for guests to enjoy.  It is always a good idea to check out what is going on over at Enzo’s Hideaway so you don’t miss out on all of the action.

4. The delicious food

The menu at Enzo’s is quite extensive.  There is a wide variety of delicious offerings from appetizers and salads to entrees, sides and desserts.  The restaurant has it all!  One of my personal favorites for dinner is the Classic Lasagna.  It is thin-layered egg pasta, braised short rib ragù, Béchamel and Fior di Latte Mozzarella.  It tastes like comfort food and is delicious lasagna.  It pairs perfectly for me with my alcoholic beverage!

3.  The overall atmosphere and vibe of the location

This is definitely a neat spot to hang out.  You walk through the tunnel to enter the location and then you find walls with graffiti and other interesting items. The lighting is dim, which fits in perfect with the backstory for the restaurant.  There is a feature bar found along concrete and stone walls.   There is a variety of different seating at the bar, in booths, etc. so guests can enjoy the style of dining and mingling that they prefer. We love the whole 1920s speakeasy-vibe of the entire location.

2. The level of detail that Disney put in

Disney puts so much effort to create immersive, detailed experiences and we can’t get enough of it. The detail is throughout every aspect from the cocktails that were created to match the prohibition-era theming, the graffiti on the walls that is a lot of fun to read and check out, the lighting and stone elements in the location and more.  Everything was perfectly placed to tell the backstory and create an opportunity for guests to truly experience what it would have been like in this era.

1. The Wine Room

There is a special wine room that only has 1 table in it!  This is definitely a more intimate spot for guests who are celebrating something special or are experiencing the location as a VIP.  This is definitely something you want to check out for a chill evening in an amazing environment.

About Christy Caby

I am a diehard Disney fanatic! I fell in love with all things Disney from an early age and that only increased once I first visited Walt Disney World! It led me to complete a yearlong Disney College Program working at merchandise locations within Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Disney-MGM Studios at that time) and I worked for Disney Parks & Resorts Technology in Project/Program Management. Now I get to write about Disney and help others plan their magical vacations! Disney holds a special place in the hearts of my entire family as my husband proposed there, we honeymooned there, took trips while pregnant with each of my boys and have visited with them many, many times from 8 weeks old through now. One of my favorite memories from each trip is always the look on my kids’ faces the first time they see the castle. I’d love to help you plan your magical vacation!
