Disney’s Hollywood Studios brings guests directly into the action and romance of Hollywood by allowing them to star in their own adventures that brings the big screen and television to life. One of the newer dining options in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is located on Grand Avenue near the entrance of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. BaseLine Tap House brings the cool and sophisticated charm of California to life through a cozy atmosphere, lots of exposed brick, and amazing menu options. Guests can sit back and enjoy a sampling of foods and flavors straight from California while sipping on some of the state’s finest offerings. 1. Outdoor Seating

One of the major appeals of BaseLine Tap House is their charming outdoor patio. The area features wooden picnic tables with umbrellas, several trees, popcorn lighting, and fans overhead to help keep guests cool on hot days. The patio is slightly raised and overlooks the typically busy pathway leading up to the entrance of Galaxy’s Edge, making it an ideal location to people watch while guests enjoy their food and beverages.

2. Ambiance

While the outdoor seating is wonderful, the interior of BaseLine Tap House features inviting details and décor that guests are sure to love. There is plenty of exposed brick and the walls are decorated with posters and details that pay homage to the history of the location which previously used to be the Writer’s Stop. There are also plenty of vintage references to Disneyland as the location is supposed to feel like somewhere in California. Guests who are lucky enough to score one of the several spots at the long counter along the window are rewarded with air conditioning and a great view of the surrounding area.

3. Bavarian Pretzel

A highlight that many guests love to indulge in while visiting BaseLine Tap House is considered to be a snack or small plate but is definitely big enough to share. The Bavarian Pretzel is massive, served warm, and perfectly coated in salt. The tasty snack is paired with beer cheese fondue and spicy mustard, making it the perfect combination of doughy pretzel and flavorful dipping options.

4. California Cheese and Charcuterie Plate

While the Bavarian Pretzel is delicious, another small plate steals the food menu at BaseLine Tap House. The California Cheese and Charcuterie Plate serves up three cheeses and two meats directly imported from California and accompanied by grapes and toasted baguettes. Guests are sure to absolutely love the Toma Farmstead Cheese, Point Reyes Original Blue Cheese, Laura Chenel’s Sonoma Goat Cheese, Chorizo, and Calabrese Sausage. The California Cheese and Charcuterie Plate is the perfect combination of savory, sweet, and delicious.

5. Beer

Part of what makes BaseLine Tap House so amazing is its extensive menu of on tap beers all directly imported from California. Guests can enjoy everything from an Angel City IPA and Lagunitas Pils to a Ballast Point Black Marlin Porter and Golden Road Hefeweizen. Perhaps the best option that guests love to order is the Create-Your-Own Beer Flight where they can choose four beers and enjoy a five ounce pour of each.

6. Wine

In addition to the California beers on tap, BaseLine Tap House also features two delicious wines that are also served on tap. Guests can sip on the St. Francis Chardonnay which features aromas of pear, green apple, and grilled pineapple ending with a toasty note or the Line 39 Cabernet Sauvignon which features flavors of currant, blackberry, ripe plum, and black tea. Both options are absolutely delicious and are sure to make guests feel as though they are in California’s wine country.

7. Cider

BaseLine Tap House also features a California cider served on tap for guests who are looking to enjoy a crisp and refreshing alcoholic beverage. The Ace Space Bloody Orange Hard Cider is from Sebastopol California and combines the fruity and rich flavor of blood orange with the crisp taste of cider. This is a unique and wonderful option for guests to enjoy on a warm day in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Guests looking to enjoy a beverage more along the lines of a specialty cocktail have two wonderful options to indulge in at BaseLine Tap House and both are inspired by the flavors and history of California. The Negroni combines Hendrick’s Gin, Campari, and Carpano Antica Sweet Vermouth and the California Sunset features Absolut Berri Acai Vodka, Southern Comfort, orange juice, sweet-and-sour, and a float of pomegranate juice.
