8 Totally Cool Things about Disney Junior Dance Party at Walt Disney World

Disney Junior Dance Party is one of the live show events that is offered at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.  It is located within the Animation Courtyard area of the park, along with Disney Junior meet and greets in the area. If you are interested in the show, then you will definitely want to check out these 8 totally cool things about Disney Junior Dance Party:

8. There are bubbles galore!

The bubbles is one of our favorite parts of the show, since it is so fun that there are bubbles falling from the sky.  It lets everyone feel like they are a kid again and enjoy the fun of bubbles falling all around, popping them and waving them all over.

7. It is a great activity for younger kiddos.

Some parents worry that there are enough shows and activities for the younger kiddos and guests at Walt Disney World.  This is a show that is definitely a fantastic and entertaining show for toddlers and younger guests.  Don’t worry, it is still also entertaining for older kids and adults, too, even if it is more themed toward the younger guests.

6. You get to see Disney Junior characters.

It is always fun to see different characters than the characters that are normally out and about in the parks.  There are characters from shows like Vampirina, Lion Guard, Doc McStuffins and Mickey and the Roadster Racers.  It is so much fun and families who enjoy Disney Junior shows are definitely going to enjoy seeing some of these favorites.

5. It is offered multiple times per day.

Don’t worry if you are trying to figure out where you would fit the show in with your day.  The show is offered multiple times throughout the day so you can fit it in where it works the best in your schedule and based on when your kiddos are ready to watch the show.

4. You can select it as a FastPass+ selection.

If you are worried about getting in for the show during the time that you want or without waiting, then you can opt to make this one of your FastPass+ selections.  This isn’t one of my family’s top picks to use a FastPass+ selection when we visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but depending on the interests for your family and what other things you will be doing during the day it could be a great choice and help save you wait time.

3. It is an interactive show.

This isn’t one of those shows where you just sit back and watch the entire time.  The kiddos get to be more interactive and dance along to the music and move around.  It is a lot of fun for them and let them wear out some of their energy while enjoying the high energy of the show. There is a fun DJ that keeps the event lively and engaging for all.

2. There are cartoon clips.

If you and your kiddos watch Disney Junior, then they will definitely recognize the cartoon clips that are played during the show.  The awesome clips help the kids to relate to the show and better recognize some of their favorite characters and shows. There are even clips that were made exclusively for this show, so there will be new things for the kiddos to see!

1. Fun music to enjoy.

You will recognize most of the music from the popular Disney Junior shows, as well as fun dance tunes that will have you ready to move.  The songs are all kid friendly and all still great for dancing and getting into the spirit of the show.  Cut loose and enjoy the fun!

About Christy Caby

I am a long time Disney addict! This love began as a child and stayed with me in my teen years. I completed the Disney College Program, was engaged and honeymooned at Disney, visited WDW while pregnant with each of our two boys, and have brought our boys since they were babies (they are now 5 and 2). We have over 10 Disney World vacations under our belt. Our recent adventure was a big move from St. Louis, MO to Florida! We knew that we needed more Disney magic that just a couple times of year, and we worked hard to make it happen! Now we hit the parks almost every weekend! We are working to dine at every location, experience every attraction and look for every hidden Mickey! We want to be able to say that we have one it all! We are branching into the Cruise Line and are planning a trip to Disneyland in California next year. To say that we are Disney addicts may be an understatement. When I am not at WDW with my family, I am reading Disney blogs and news, crafting (usually Disney décor for our home), planning Disney vacations for others or working on my dissertation for my doctoral program. I am a Project Manager by profession, so I have mastered fitting everything into a tight schedule! We feel we lead an exciting life where we get to spend a lot of time together doing what we love! I love being able to this love and Disney magic with everyone else so that others can make the most of whatever time they get to have at the most magical place on earth!
