8 Trending Souvenirs at Walt Disney World

Grab your wallet and let’s get shopping! There are more than 300 shops in Walt Disney World, spread over four theme parks, two water parks, and the shopping paradise of Disney Springs, so choosing a souvenir can be overwhelming. You might choose mugs for friends back at home, a t-shirt to remember your trip, or a Disney Christmas ornament to hang on your tree during the holidays. Maybe you are partial to a sweet treat, like a decadent cupcake, cotton candy, or popcorn. Perhaps you have your eye on a new designer handbag, a pair of earrings, or a keychain. There’s always the classic souvenir, a pair of black Mickey ears embroidered with your name. Shopping is a breeze with the advent of MagicBands, which can be conveniently used to pay for a purchase. Even better, guests staying onsite can have their purchases sent back to their resort’s gift shop, eliminating the need to carry packages around a park all day. If your vacation is over, don’t worry, just use the Shop Parks app on your mobile phone to order any gifts you forgot to purchase during your trip.

So, what should you buy? Check out my list of some of the trending items guests are purchasing right now. If something catches your eye, buy it soon, because these items tend to sell out quickly.

2. Spirit Jersey

The hottest t-shirt in Walt Disney World this year is the long-sleeve spirit jersey, available in all four parks. With a classic Walt Disney World logo and inaugural year on the front and the words “Walt Disney World” in script across the back, this shirt is definitely a terrific souvenir to purchase. Available in many great colors, you’ll have a hard time deciding which one to pick!

Featuring favorite characters, the four Disney parks, holidays, and Disney quotes, Alex & Ani bracelets are everywhere. There are so many cute Disney designs that it’s hard to just buy one!

4. Pandora Jewelry

What better way to remember your Walt Disney World vacation than with a pretty Pandora charm or bracelet? The popular jewelry brand teamed up with Disney to offer a fantastic selection of charms for favorite Disney characters. 5. Exotic Banshees

Make friends with a banshee creature when you’re visiting Pandora-The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. These interactive toys are so popular that they have sold out several times. Journey into the Rookery area of the Windtraders shop to find these exotic animals. The Rookery is beautifully themed to blend right in with the rest of Pandora and is stocked with 10 different styles of banshees. A cast member, or Naturalist, will help guests select a banshee and explain how to move its wings, head, and mouth. Name your new pet and let it rest on your shoulder or purchase a perch for it.

6. Epcot Festival Merchandise

About Melissa Fegely

I have been a professional writer for over 18 years with degrees in Biology and English. I am a lifelong Disney fan and a Disney Vacation Club member of over nine years. Having visited Walt Disney World several times growing up, I really caught the Disney bug after many trips with my husband. Now I am happily addicted to taking our son to Walt Disney World as often as possible and watching him experience the magic and Mickey Bars as he grows up. Traveling to Walt Disney World twice a year, I enjoy attending the Flower and Garden festival held in the spring and strolling around the World Showcase, as well as exploring all of the hidden gems that all four parks have to offer. I love helping my family and friends plan their next Disney trips based on my experiences. I also enjoy reading, swimming, traveling, and cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers. I grew up in Southwestern Pennsylvania, attended Shippensburg University, and current live in suburban Philadelphia with my husband, son, and two cats.
