Another familiar Disney World dining spot is about to reopen.

Food is a major part of the Walt Disney World experience. Across its four theme parks, resort hotels, and Disney Springs, guests can choose from character breakfasts, quick-service restaurants, lounges, signature dining, international cuisine, and plenty of theme park snacks.

Disney also regularly updates its dining options. Restaurants close for refurbishments, menus change, and new locations open alongside major additions to the parks.

Several new restaurants are already planned. Disney’s Animal Kingdom will gain a large quick-service location as part of its Tropical Americas expansion, while Disney’s Hollywood Studios is preparing multiple dining options for its upcoming Monstropolis area.

When portions of Monstropolis open in 2027, guests will be able to visit Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza and Harryhausen’s, a full restaurant inspired by Monsters, Inc. Harryhausen’s will feature an original menu and an Audio-Animatronic sushi chef.

Before then, however, one restaurant that closed earlier this year is getting ready to serve guests again.

The Turf Club Lounge Reopens August 31

The Turf Club Lounge at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will reopen on August 31.

Disney closed the lounge in May as work began around The Turf Club dining area. At the time, the company said the closure would continue through August.

Disney Parks has now confirmed the reopening date on social media.

The lounge offers patio seating, drinks, and a selection of shareable dishes near Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf Course.

Its food menu appears set to remain largely unchanged following the closure.

Current options include the Turf Club Burger and Crispy Chicken Wings, which are available with either Buffalo or garlic-Parmesan sauce.

Guests can also order Sweet-and-Spicy Brussels Sprouts and an Onion Ring Tower served with Saratoga sauce and horseradish sauce.

The cocktail menu includes a refreshing Mint Julep made with Woodford Reserve bourbon, along with a Captain’s Mai Tai and sangria.

Another option is the New York Sour, which is made with Widow Jane Bourbon and finished with a Merlot float.

Although the lounge is returning, the rest of The Turf Club will not reopen at the same time.

The Turf Club Bar & Grill Is Still Closed

The Turf Club Bar & Grill is expected to remain closed through late September.

That leaves Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa without its main table-service restaurant for several more weeks, although guests still have other dining options around the property.

The Artist’s Palette is the resort’s main quick-service restaurant, serving a range of sandwiches, salads, pizzas, breakfast dishes, and grab-and-go items.

Guests can also eat at The Paddock Grill, an outdoor quick-service location near the Paddock Pool. Its menu includes the Saratoga Burger, Cobb salad, and sandwiches.

Another option is Chip ’n’ Dale’s CafĆ© at Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf Course.

The kiosk serves deli-style sandwiches, snacks, and drinks and is available to guests who are not playing golf at the resort.

The golf course itself is currently closed for renovations and is expected to remain unavailable through October 2026.

For guests staying at Saratoga Springs, the August 31 reopening will bring back another place to grab food or drinks without leaving the resort.

It also comes as Walt Disney World continues making changes to its restaurant lineup ahead of several larger additions planned for 2027 and beyond.
