Adventures by Disney Announce NEW Destinations for 2024 Vacations

Ready to plan your next Disney vacation outside of the theme parks? Between beach Resorts on Hilton Head Island and Vero Beach, plus Disney’s Aulani Resort, and of course, Disney Cruise Line, there are so many ways to have a magical vacation outside of the theme parks.

New for 2024, Adventures by Disney is launching a new Adriatic Expedition Cruise through Croatia along the Adriatic Sea. Two trips are scheduled with the Adriatic Sea itineraries for 2024, but they could be quite popular so you’ll want to book as soon as you’re able to if this sounds like the vacation for you!

The Disney Parks Blog just shared the details of the upcoming itineraries, which would include an eight-day, seven-night round-trip sailing departing from Venice, Italy. (With a Venice departure, we would recommend including a couple of days either before or after your trip to explore some of Italy!)

From Venice, Guests will board the PONANT Le Bougainville ship. This ship specifically makes the trip much more exciting than your average cruise vacation since the vessel is small enough to access remote locations including seven ports across Croatia and Montenegro.

The Adriatic itineraries include a “Pirates of the Adriatic” swim party and a Dalmatian Dash scavenger hunt for younger Guests, while adults can try cocktail workshops, fitness classes, and more (including a “multisensorial underwater lounge” on the ship.)

Disney notes the following experiences included on the Adriatic itinerary:

• Kayak along the Pakleni Islands.
• Bike through vineyards and lavender fields of the UNESCO Stari Grad Plain (also known as Hora or Ager).
• Taste local delicacies such as Dalmatian Prosciutto, aged by the bura, a northerly-blowing wind common in the winter months.
• Explore picturesque Boka Bay in Montenegro by catamaran or stroll the cobbled streets of Old Town Kotor.
• Visit the world-famous Predjama Castle in Slovenia.
• Delve into the massive underground labyrinth at Slovenia’s Postojna Cave and discover the “dragons” that call it home.
