It’s been a long time coming, but Bluey is officially on his way to Disney’s theme parks and cruise ships.
Bluey has quickly become a cultural phenomenon, captivating audiences worldwide with its heartwarming stories and relatable characters. The animated series, centered on the playful and imaginative adventures of a blue heeler pup and her family, has transcended its target audience of young children to resonate with parents and older viewers alike.

Since acquiring international distribution rights, Disney has brought the Australian animated series to audiences worldwide through its streaming platform Disney+ and linear channels like Disney Junior. This partnership has introduced Bluey’s charming stories and vibrant characters to millions, making it a household name far beyond its origins.
Given the show’s massive popularity and its strong ties to Disney, fans have long been eagerly awaiting Bluey and her friends to make their way to Disney’s iconic theme parks. Earlier this year, the excitement reached new heights when Bluey and Bingo made surprise appearances at D23, sparking a flurry of speculation and fueling theories that their park debut was just around the corner.

Now, after much anticipation, Disney has officially confirmed the arrival of the beloved pups at their parks, marking a thrilling new chapter for fans.
As per The Hollywood Reporter, Bluey is coming to both Walt Disney World and Disneyland in 2025. Bluey and Bingo will also join Disney Cruise Line voyages originating from Australia and New Zealand for meet-and-greets, games, and a dance party from January.
Earlier this week, Disney, BBC Studios—the commercial arm responsible for distributing the hit Australian animated series—and Ludo Studio, the production company behind the show, revealed that a Bluey movie is set to hit theaters in 2027, with Disney handling distribution. The film will be written and directed by Bluey creator Joe Brumm.

Disney’s decision to feature Bluey, a third-party character, in its theme parks and cruise ships is a notable move, as the company typically focuses on its own IP. While Disney has occasionally embraced outside franchises, like with The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Star Tours, this remains a rare occurrence.
Chairperson of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Josh D’Amaro shared a statement about Bluey’s Disney debut. “Bluey has become a household name for families around the world and we are thrilled to bring her story to life in new ways,” D’Amaro said. “We can’t wait to watch our youngest guests and their families make memories with Bluey in our parks and on our cruises.”

Nicki Sheard, CEO of BBC Studios brands and licensing, also released a statement. “The Heeler family’s debut at Disney Theme Parks and Cruises really is the icing on the cake for what has been an exceptional year for Bluey. We are committed to creating the very best-in-class experiences for our fans and can’t wait to open the doors to families next year.”
Bluey fans have previously been able to meet the pup in CBeebies Land at British theme park Alton Towers. Meanwhile, Bluey’s World in Brisbane, Queensland, also provides a one-of-a-kind immersive experience where visitors “can play the Bluey way.”
