A Day at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon

Disney's Water Park offers a tropical oasis with a large wave pool fringed by lush palm trees. A towering water slide stands proudly in the distance, while wooden fences border the area and a red buoy gently bobs in the sparkling waters, enhancing the whimsical ambiance.

The Walt Disney World Resort has so much to offer. Depending on what you are into, there is truly something for everyone. Now that it is officially summer, Orlando, Florida, can get quite hot during the day. With that said Disney has your back. If roaming the Parks isn’t your jive during the warmer time of the year, try out Disney’s water Park to cool off.

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon is one of two water Parks Disney offers. Currently, the second water Park, Blizzard Beach, is undergoing refurbishment and is closed. But that won’t stop us from basking in the hot Florida sun and enjoying Typhoon Lagoon’s refreshing offers!

Like any Disney Park, there is plenty to do, depending on your crowd and interests. Typhoon Lagoon offers rides, dining options, and plenty of areas to relax and chill. Explore what to do so you can enjoy a day at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon.

Dining

Something unique to this Park is that all the dining options are quick service. I mean, who wants to sit at a table service restaurant in their bikini anyway! With plenty of quick service options, you can enjoy a meal and some of your favorite snacks before returning to the water. For adults, there is the bar ‘Let’s Go Slurpin’, where Guests of age can enjoy frozen drinks or on the rocks. Disney suggests trying their “tequila-based Miss Tilly or the “tubular” Mojitos.”
