Nothing screams summer like a pool party! Disney World always has something new and exciting to share with each holiday that comes. The beginning of summer is no different. Disney World’s Water Parks are a great way to kick off the summer, relax in the cool water and soak in the Florida sun.
The Walt Disney Company is known for its work with charities and for giving back to its fans in many ways. This year, Disney hosted the World’s Largest Swim Lesson, partnering with multiple Florida non-profits at Typhoon Lagoon.

Largest Swimming Lesson
This largest swimming lesson hosted 650 students at Typhoon Lagoon, “an annual event designed to promote safe water practices worldwide,” as detailed by Disney. This program helps “build awareness and empower students with the skills they need to swim safely.”
Disney World hosted its 14th annual event, kicking the summer off with quite a splash! It is no secret that the Walt Disney Company is still very much in the business of making life magical. With these lessons, students get to learn vital tips while making memories that will last a lifetime. Disney’s Water Parks
Disney’s Water Parks, Typhoon Lagoon, opened in 1989, and Blizzard Beach opened in 1995. Although Blizzard Beach is currently closed for refurbishment, both Parks have brought waves of excitement to Guests. Offering a lazy river, water slides, wave pools, dining, and more, these Parks make for a fun day in the sun.
