The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is underway. It features both sweet and savory treats, live entertainment, and amazing works of art. With all that the festival has going for it, the star is a popcorn bucket.
You read that right. The hottest item at the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is a popcorn bucket.

Granted, that popcorn bucket is the likeness of Figment, who is featured prominently throughout the festival. And with that popcorn bucket, you can refill it with more popcorn for just $2.25, which is about the best snack value at Walt Disney World.

On the opening day of the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, the line for the Figment Popcorn Bucket started quickly. By noon, it was estimated that the wait was at least FIVE HOURS long. By comparison, the Wait Time for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure was 80 minutes.

The Figment Popcorn Buckets are sold at Pop Eats! Food Studio. They come with Rainbow Popcorn.
There is a limit of two Figment Popcorn Buckets per person. Disney is holding to that limit.
While we were at EPCOT, we saw a man who was carrying not two, but four Figment Popcorn Buckets. He was approached by several Security Cast Members, who wanted to know how he was able to purchase more than the limit. He explained that he had only bought two, he was holding the other two for his girlfriend.
Who ever thought that you could be stopped by security because of popcorn? We realize that the Cast Members were doing their jobs, and we appreciate that they are looking out for all those who want to buy the buckets.
Disney Popcorn Buckets are a hot collectible right now. Already, the Figment Buckets are “popping” up on reselling sites such as eBay, for a huge profit for the seller.
The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts runs daily through February 21.
