Get a Closer Look at This Animal Kingdom Character Dining Restaurant

Months ago, we found out that an Animal Kingdom character dining staple would be transitioning back into an ‘all-you-care-to-enjoy’ buffet-style restaurant.

Although it’s currently operating as a family-style dining experience, beginning on November 1, the Tusker House Restaurant will return to buffet-style dining, giving Guests a chance to indulge in ‘all the food you can handle.

Here’s a closer look at the African-inspired flavors served at this Animal Kingdom character dining experience.

In the morning, Guests can enjoy the Breakfast Platter, which consists of both Mickey and Simba Waffles, Durban chicken with egg curry, and jasmine rice. It’s also served with breakfast classics: roasted potatoes, sausage, and bacon.

Or indulge in something sweet like a Zebra Coffee Cake to start your morning!

For lunch and dinner, check out the house specialties, such as the Green Curry Shrimp, the plant-based Cauliflower Bunny Chow, Spit-roasted Tandoori Chicken, and more.

If you’d like to enjoy an adult beverage, you can indulge in several cocktails made with the house ‘Jungle Juice‘ at breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

There’s no need to worry about the little ones because the Tusker House Restaurant has classic children’s choices such as macaroni and cheese, corn dog nuggets, and more.

One of the most fantastic aspects of this dining experience is the chance to see your favorite Disney character while enjoying your meal. You might spot Donald Duck, Goofy, or Mickey Mouse himself. Each character will be dressed up in their safari outfits as if they’ve just had a Kilimanjaro Safari adventure.

When it comes to Disney restaurants, Animal Kingdom’s Tusker House Restaurant is well worth a visit during your trip to the Disney Park.
