Florida is joining other parts of the country in getting cold weather. Although we may not be as cold as other areas up North, we saw it hit a low in the 20s overnight.

We are not making it out of the 40s today, so you may wonder, can I still enjoy Walt Disney World in colder temperatures? The answer is, of course, you can!

Make sure to grab your coats and dress in layers, especially if you’re going to be at the Parks after dark.

We will still be having bright sunshine today, (Saturday January 29th), and you can still have a great time no matter what the weather is like. Thankfully there are plenty of indoor attractions available at all four Theme Parks.

You can escape the cooler temperatures by riding indoor attractions like Space Mountain at Magic KingdomNot only will you be escaping the cold, but you are traveling into outer space, which is surprisingly warmer than Central Florida right now.

The Water Parks are closed today and tomorrow (January 29th and 30th), and although they do heat the water in the winter months, it is still too cold to swim no matter where you’re from.

Don’t let the cool weather stop you. You are at Walt Disney World, and you’re here to enjoy your magical vacation. There are many delicious restaurants all over the property and sitting down and having a great meal is a nice way to warm up.

There are different coffee spots all over the Theme Parks and Resorts as well. Get a nice warm beverage and enjoy your caffeine fix at the same time. This cool weather won’t last long. We already have temperatures that will be hitting the 70s and 80s next week, so we will survive this Florida winter 2022 together.
