Many Guests waited for the exciting news that Typhoon Lagoon would finally reopen after almost two years of being closed. When Walt Disney World gave this announcement Guests packed their swimsuits and started getting ready to enjoy this Water Park yet again.
If you are an Annual Passholder for Walt Disney World, did you know that you get a discount on Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon? It’s true; Passholders can save $20 off of tickets.

The discount could be used for the Passholder and up to three Guests at the rate of $49 per person. This price is only valid now through December 31st, 2022.

This isn’t the first time that a discount like this has been offered so if you aren’t able to visit this year you may have other opportunities in the future.
Before the changes in Annual Passes, Platinum Plus included the Water Parks, but now none of them do. You can purchase an add on, but you have to decide for yourself if you will be visiting the Water Parks enough for it to be worth the money.
One of the perks of the Water Parks is free parking, so you don’t need to worry about that extra expense. Although if you are an Annual Passholder, you do have parking included, but this is good to know for those traveling there and meeting you at the Water Park.
If you are hoping to go to Blizzard Beach, you will have to wait a while. Currently, they are closed for refurbishment, and we do not have an opening date yet. It is common for one Water Park to close during the winter months and one remains open. We will let you know when we have a reopening date for Blizzard Beach.
