Central Florida Park Finally Reopened

If you have been in Central Florida the past few days, you’ll have seen that we’ve had crazy weather. In the winter months, you can have one day in the upper 80s, and the next day you hit a low in the 20s. It is so unpredictable, and you never know what you’re going to get.

You have to admit that it is pretty cool to go to a water park in the middle of February. Other parts of the country are getting snow and ice, but our winter is much more comfortable. This is why locals put up with the hot, humid summers to have the enjoyable winters.

For the time being, there is only one water park open at Walt Disney World. Blizzard Beach is currently closed for refurbishment, and there has not been a reopening date announced yet.

When Walt Disney World reopened after the closure due to COVID-19 in 2020, it took some time for the water parks to reopen. First, Blizzard Beach reopened, and then when it was time for a refurbishment of Blizzard Beach, they switched, and Typhoon Lagoon took the spot.

Once we know when Blizzard Beach will be open and you’ll be able to enjoy both water parks once again, we will let you know.
