With HBO’s Harry Potter series beginning to round out its cast, speculation is heating up around one of the most important characters yet to be announced: Lord Voldemort.

And leading the current wave of predictions is a familiar face from another major franchise—Tom Hiddleston.

Best known for playing Loki across the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Hiddleston is now sitting at 1/1 odds to play Voldemort, according to Online Betting Guide (via Metro News). Although HBO hasn’t announced anything in relation to Hiddleston or the character.

Still, he’s reportedly a fan-favorite to take over the role played by Ralph Fiennes in the beloved films. And it’s easy to see why — Hiddleston has range, status, and that mix of elegance and menace that makes Voldemort what he is. And though the Dark Lord is not a sympathetic villain, Hiddleston made an entire generation of moviegoers root for his.

Other names floated for the role include Cillian Murphy (Oppenheimer), who’s already gotten Ralph Fiennes’ public blessing. But as of now, Hiddleston leads the unofficial race, and it already has us imagining what his version of Lord Voldemort might look like.

The confirmed cast includes Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley, and Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger.

Supporting roles are Paapa Essiedu (Black Mirror) as Severus Snape, John Lithgow (Dexter) as Albus Dumbledore, Nick Frost (Hot Fuzz) as Rubeus Hagrid, Janet McTeer (Tumbleweeds) as Minerva McGonagall, Luke Thallon (Tom Stoppard’s Leopoldstadt) as Quirinus Quirrell, and Paul Whitehouse (Harry & Paul) as Argus Filch.

If Hiddleston does join the cast, it will be one of the show’s biggest swings yet. Until then, it’s all speculation—and one very fitting nickname: “Tom Riddleston.” For now, Lord Voldemort’s deadly wand has no owner (which in many ways is a good thing).
