Disney World offers two coveted waterpark options for Guests to enjoy, and they have opposite themes. Typhoon Lagoon offers an experience centered around an interesting storyline.
A typhoon previously hit the village, which the storm has left in ruins. Blizzard Beach differs from its tropically themed counterpart with a winter wonderland theme.
Similar to its predecessor, a storm hit the location, dumping a mountain of snow in Florida. Along with the waterparks, a vast array of pools don the Resorts located within Walt Disney World.
Disney announced that several pools at Saratoga Spring’s Resort & Spa will be closed for refurbishments in 20222 and 2023, along with On the Rocks Pool Bar. October 3 through the middle of December, the Congress Park leisure pool and the Treehouse Villa pools will be closed for renovations.
In 2023, from early January to late March, the High Rock Spring Pool and On the Rocks Pool Bar will close, while the pool undergoes maintenance. Guests who typically enjoy grabbing a bite to eat at the location can opt for The Paddock Grill or the Backstretch Pool Bar instead.
The Paddock Grill, located near The Paddock Pool, provides delicious American fare and a variety of alcoholic beverages. The Backstretch Pool Bar, located next to the Grandstand Pool, has a diner-like ambiance and serves favorites such as ice cream, pretzels, and pizzas.
Saratoga Springs is one of Walt Disney World’s Deluxe Resorts. Fashioned to look like “a late-1800s’ New York retreat famous for its spas and horse racing—this charming, Victorian-style Resort hotel is nestled between rolling golf course greens and the shimmering Lake Buena Vista.”
